Little but we Tall-A-Wah, This is the name given to this small Island in the Tropics. Jamaica's known population is just 2.7 million. Very small in numbers but powerful in size. Jamaica is known World- wide for Reggae, a culture next to none: Patwah or Patois "Wah Gwaan"

Jamaica's rich heritage: Port Royal, Annie Palmer's Great House, Lover's Leap etc. Today let's look at 1 of our greatest accomplishment Track & Field. From the days of Herb McKinley, Donald Quarrie, Merlene Ottey, Dion Hemmings. So many names to be mention so great are the athletes, many can say Equal Rights. From this small country we can gladly say we have produced The Greatest Usain Bolt, The Best Asafa Powell The King of 9 seconds, last but not least The second fastest man in history Yohan Blake.

Both Usain & Yohan are lovers of other sports; For Usain Football & Yohan is a cricketer. Mr. Blake a fast bowler I believe, West Indies loss but Jamaica's Athletics reap all the benefits. Hypothetically speaking what If both had chosen a different sports.. Hmm.

These men are so legendary Asafa Powell record breaker, Usain Bolt record holder, as mentioned Yohan Blake second fastest in history. " Lord God the track a burn up" Jamaica is known for its churches per mile, is that 1 of the reason why we are so blessed? Football we adore but Track & Field season is like Public Holidays. Like days at the beach we chill & relax, almost everyone if not everyone is tuning in. Knock Pot Covers. So spoil we can be: Silver & Bronze are medals but the Gold is all we Need. Great achievers or spoiled brats? ONLY THE BEST IS GREAT ENOUGH.

With such great shoes to fill who the world saw stepping forward Mr. Yohan Blake aka the Beast. With cricket been Yohan's first love who would thought this athlete with hidden talents could be a rival to 1 of the greatest Track & Field Athlete.

Usain's Track & Field partner & rival. Greatness from 1 country yet greatness in the same camp. Only Arsenal's Invincible can compared. Yohan won gold at the 100 m at the 2011 World Athletics Championships as the youngest 100 m World Champion Ever, also a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London in the 100 M & 200 M races; His times of 9.75 in 100m & 19.44 in 200m are the fastest 100m & 200m Olympic sprints in history but he didn't win the gold medal.
