South and North Korea: A Military Face-Off.

On the Korean peninsula, tensions rise,

As Kim Jong-un shouts threats of demise;

Two neighbors with locked treasured swords,

A question of war at their borders.

The South boasts economic might,

And military prowess highlights their fight.

With the US and Japan at their back,

Allies forged solid hard to crack.

The North has crude numbers on their side,

And aggressive words that can't hide

Their aging air force and equipment frail,

On their opponent they’ll surely fail.

Chemical weapons fill up their stocks,

A cruel ace if war’s box unlocks.

Nuclear ambitions edge ever nearer,

Making their southern foe ever wearier.

Would overcome their rival’s attacks.

Conventional victory seems clear,

But darker schemes may plant seeds of fear.

The future holds many uncertainties still,

And North Korean threats the air chill.

Yet economic and alliance power tips the scale;
