There's no way to avoid Death, which is the ultimate mystery. We wonder what it really is, and whether there is life after death. Religion and other conventional methods have been tried, but some people are more open-minded and seek answers through psychicsessions or séances. There are several ways to try to find out what happens after death, but some are more conventional than others. Religion is one way to look for answers, and so are consultations with oracles. Psychics can also be a source of information.

There is another way to try to know what is in the afterlife, which is known as the 'death cycle mantium.' Some rituals involve animal sacrifice, and others have long hallways with polished surfaces that are meant to make the light appear dim and flickering. It wasn't the reflective surface that most Greeks believed would let them see into the beyond, it was the spirits of those who had died. Although I'm against people gazing into mirrors for fun, it would be difficult to imagine modern day without philosopher and psychologist Raymond Moody. He has devoted his life to studying near-death experiences.

Dr. Moody's method of mirror gazing psychomanteum is different from the ancient Greek practice of sacrificing animals. In modern day practice, the mirror is more as a medium or conduit for divination. What is gained from these experiences are supposedly very personal and specific. So, how does this work, much like the ritualistic procedures found in antiquity? There's pre-work and preparation that must be done before using a psychomanteum. The mirror isn't just there to set up some mirrors and angles; there's an inner striving that must parallel the efforts of the medium.

Dr. Moody has developed specific techniques that can help create an atmosphere almost anywhere to conduct a mirror gazing experience. Food, clothing, caffeine, and other material objects play significant roles in who we are and what we do. In order to have the best possible experience, it is essential to relax and be in a place that is calm, disconnecting from the world. You should also choose a location that is comfortable for you and quiet. Once you're ready, sit in a supportive position and reflect on something or anyone you want to connect with. Lastly, place your mirror in front of you so that the person can visually gaze at it without seeing their own reflection

According to Dr. Moody, the mirror gazing experience may last around a minute, but for some it can last longer if they're not truly mastering the medium. The psychomanteum experience itself consists of different attributes, such as trance-like meditative States and a feeling of heaviness in the arm, tingling fingers, and sometimes the mirror itself distorts viewing remainin passive and not taking an active role. It's most advantageous to gaining insights when using this experience is you know what questions to ask in order to make contact with the dead. This is just my personal experience playing Bloody Mary - which you should never do - and reciting things or gazing into a mirror hoping to look that guy's handsome. It shouldn't be underestimated how critical death is in our perception of light and how it's linked to life - while we're alive - so it's only natural for us to explore it when we have the opportunity.I'm not advocating that you try this at all - I think it's a bad idea in general.
