General-Duty Officers and Pilot Officers are two types of Lady Officers who work on shore establishments, air stations, and headquarters. They are not stationed on Indian Coast Guard vessels.

Indian Coast Guard Officer’s Ongoing Operation

Officers of the Indian Coast Guard are currently undergoing Basic Military Training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, alongside their Indian Navy counterparts. This facilitates the exchange of officers between the two sister services. The Indian Coast Guard Academy is being built in Mangalore, Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district.
