Four Most Fascinating Things Found Underwater!

Many people have a large fear of the Ocean ; around 68 percent of Americans are afraid of deep , open water and 32 percent have a fear of placing their head under water ! Who can really blame them though? When only five percent has been discovered leaving 95 percent of our Ocean obscure and unexplored, read on to discover our Top four most enrapturing and Craziest things found in the depths of our Oceans! (In no particular order)

1) The Lost City Of Heracleion:

For centuries, the city of Heracleion has been concealed into a myth and thought to be a legend. Heracleion The Lost City Of Cleopatra otherwise called Thonis was found by a diver in 1999 named Franck Goddio fast foward 10 years after divers started uncovering its profound secret fortunes. Archeologists chose to make an image of what life resembled in the city in the time of the Thonis;

treasures continue to be unearthed .Among the buried treasures found mere kilometre s off the coast of Alexandria are goliath statues, slabs of Thought to have been first established in the 12th Century BC, the city, vanished deep beneath the surface of the earth; it is said to be a major flood which caused this 1,200 years ago. Today, the legendary city’s stones with ancient Greek and Egyptian engravings, dozens of ships, gold coins, bronze statues and many more.

2) The Titanic

When we hear about the Titanic our minds may drift to the jaw-dropping scenes between Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet! It is no surprise that the Great boat sank and took 1,500 people down with it, however the real fascinating thing about the Titanic is that is was actually found in 1985. Not only was it discovered but it was th e result of a Top-Secret military expedition! Robert Ballard - who was an oceanographer - was the one that found it.

When Ballard and his team , found the boiler underwater that was the huge realisation that they had actually found the Titanic; Ballard described it as if "There were two people inside of me at that moment" there was a part of him that was "Elated , excited and happy" and another side which was a "Sense of remorse , a sense of; we shouldn't be celebrating anything" After the discovery, there was a great amount of attraction to where it was found. Ballard could of claimed the site as his own by removing a single artefact but he chose not to disrupt the site.

3) The Baltic Sea Anomaly

Explorers found the odd-moulded item on the sea bed of the Baltic Sea, Northern Europe in June 2011. Named the Baltic Sea Anomaly, the article is a 70-meter long oddly formed component that appeared on sonar laying 100 meters underneath the waves. Speculations regarding what the Anomaly could be have gone from the intriguing to the silly!

People have assumed it could be the remains of a sunken city years ago; others think it was formed during the ice age several years ago as the whole Baltic region was once influenced by glaciers. The most craziest hypothesis for the mysterious object is for it to be a UFO! Till this day scientist are unsure of what this sculpture may be.

4) Black Sea Undersea River

Have you ever heard of a river under the sea? Well now you have! Founded by leading scientist at Leeds University was an undersea sea river located in the seabed of the Black Sea ; flowing amongst the Bosphorus Strait. The 115 ft Underwater Seabed also has waterfalls and Rapids resembling its tellurian akins.

The Black Sea stream streams just for around 37 miles until it arrives at the edge of the ocean rack and scatters into the remote ocean. The scientists used robotic submarines to educate themselves about the deep channel found in the seabed ; furthermore, found a stream of highly pungent water streaming along the deep channel at the lower part of the Black Sea, making river banks and flood torments similar as a river ashore!
