It’s been a long wait, but the first glimpse of pricing for ChatGPT is finally here. After launching almost two months ago, the popular language model is now available in two different plans: basic and professional.

The artificial intelligence (AI) service ChatGPT now offers a $42 monthly subscription for its premium Professional Plan. Saboo Shubham, who has written books on OpenAI GPT-3 and other topics, announced the premium edition on Twitter. If you subscribe to a premium plan, you'll be able to utilize the service ahead of others who didn't pay for it. With ChatGPT, you can anticipate quicker replies and early access to newly released features. Although we are relieved that a free option will remain, we anticipate that this shift will affect how we make use of the service overall. It will take time for the pros to complete their work, and in the meanwhile, free users will have to be patient. The pricing of US$42 a month may seem high in comparison to Netflix's $8, but it represents the high potential for automation and the development of services on top of the platform.

The good news is that the model for both plans is the same, so users won’t have to sacrifice quality for affordability. The professional plan, however, does offer some additional benefits. For one, it will be available even when demand is high, ensuring that users can always access the model when they need it. Additionally, response speed will be faster and priority access to new features will be given to professional plan users.

It’s also worth noting that the basic plan will still be available, and it will remain unchanged. This means that all previous history will still be available, and the generation speed and updates will be the same as they were before.

All in all, it’s great to see ChatGPT finally offering pricing options. The professional plan looks like a great option for those who need constant access to the model, but for those on a budget, the basic plan is still a solid option. To be honest, it’s better than the alternative, their widely known “pay-as-you-go” subscription, which is still very confusing for average users. So far, I’d say it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

Are your students completing their homework with the help of AI bots?

After all, we discovered that AI is readily available and has a lot of potential. The use of artificial intelligence bots to complete students' homework assignments is one of the most significant causes for concern. Students are increasingly able to circumvent the need to actually learn the material by completing their assignments with the assistance of bots that are powered by artificial intelligence (AI), as this technology continues to advance and more AI-powered tools become widely available.

This may appear to be a harmless way for students to save time and effort on the surface, but in reality, it is a serious problem for a number of reasons. To begin, it would be counterproductive to education as a whole to have artificial intelligence bots do one's homework. It is not the purpose of students' homework to merely produce answers without understanding the questions or topics being covered in class; rather, the purpose of homework is to reinforce the concepts that students are learning in class. When students get their homework done by artificial intelligence bots, they are robbing themselves of an important educational opportunity.

In addition, the use of AI bots to complete one's homework establishes a potentially disastrous standard. Students learn from this that they do not need to put in the effort and hard work that is required for success and that they can get by with taking shortcuts and cheating their way through school. This mentality can be carried over into other aspects of their lives, which can result in a lack of motivation as well as a lack of skills that are applicable in the real world.

The use of artificial intelligence bots to complete students' assignments comes with a number of risks, all of which should be brought to the attention of their teachers. They need to make it abundantly clear that cheating is not tolerated in any circumstance, and that the only way to truly learn and advance is through consistent effort and commitment to one's studies. They can help their students develop the skills and values that will serve them well throughout their lives if they take a firm stance on this issue and demonstrate their commitment to it.
