Why I love watching Anime? アニメ
I have been into anime for years ever since I got a glance of this anime called "Blade Blade Burst" and it goes on.
With this in mind my earliest memory of watching anime goes back to when I was 10 year old. TVs were more popular source of entertainment at home those days. That's how I got into watching some anime's such as: Blade Blade Burst, Pokémon, and Dragon Ball. In next 6 years, I watched more cartoons like Bleach, FMA, Inuyasha, Death Note, Fate Zero, Avatar (American anime) and Naruto (original) Yes I was still calling them Cartoon until a friend of mine told me what Anime was. I remember how shocked I was when she told me.

For instance there are many reasons, and I’ve written several answer on the topic, however if I had to summarize the reason I love anime down its very core, the answer would be: the life lessons. Anime is a medium filled with beautiful lessons and life stories. People mistake it as childish and unrealistic just because it has animation, but in many ways it surpasses many live action series in terms of realism and heart. People like to assume that anime isn’t deep or lacks emotional connection, but it does. It has lots of it. And it can be quite profound. I’m not ashamed to say that I’m an Otaku, and that I love anime. It has so many great things going for it. Powerful themes, well developed and realistic characters, an absolutely stunning aesthetic and visuals, great music, cohesive plots, and a vast variety of different topics to capitalize on. There are clichés yes but overall anime is a very original and impactful medium that tells many stories which aren’t as basic as many like to believe. (Otaku just means weeb who loves anime!)

Despite this one ultimate reason that I hold anime close to me, despite all the various great things too it beyond this, is the messages it tells in its stories, in its characters, in its episodes and chapters. Some are simple and straight forward and cliché, and some are complex and nuanced and thematically deep. There’s Fairy Tail, which preaches the power of friendship. People claim its boring and filled with plot armor, but refuse to accept how important the power of friendship is in our everyday life. People are held by strong bonds that help them get through times and Fairy Tail explores this. So what if its ‘basic and lacking in mind warping depth’, why does that matter. The power of friendship is relevant in our everyday lives and so just because Fairy Tail is fictional doesn’t mean its any less powerful & then there’s stories like Berserk or Vagabond or Monster, which go deeper and tell darker, profound, and more mature themes. Like determinism, nihilism, redemption, etc. It tackles several complex and mature ideas that really made me wiser as a person by reading these series. They changed me mentally and helped me grow. They were a lesson that helped me develop, while that of FT’s deeply resonated with me.

In view of either ways, anime has some of the greatest life lessons I have ever experience and more then any, and I mean any other medium, they have realistically connected and developed me in many ways. And that is the main reason I love anime.

have infinite reasons for loving anime, but a few are listed below:
*Storylines- Plots and storylines are amazing beyond words. They literally widen your brain’s imaginative domain. Anime provides a look into the human heart in this way. This is also the reason anime be it an anime film or anime series often brings tears and even profound reflection to a viewer. It forces you to confront topics and ask questions.
*Animation- Honestly, I think anime is a form of entertainment with the perfect graphics. Animation allows creators to tell more fantastic stories visually. Tell me, can we find these kind of visuals anywhere else?
*Characters and Character Development- One of the most interesting thing about the anime industry is, the depth of characterization. The circumstances would make you feel their emotions as if they were real. Moreover, the character development that a character goes through as the series progress is remarkable. You will come to know the backstories, the hardships that made the character the way it used to be.
*Soundtracks- The background music, OP, ED, etc. paints the anime in a new color. They light up the moment, intense the moment, or makes everything depressing, all according to the plot, which makes the anime more enjoyable. The music is so beautiful that it would play your heart like an instrument, and when you get to know the meaning of the lyrics its more gorgeous.
*Intense Battles- The fight scenes are on whole another level. Such intense fight scenes that would put the other action movies to shame!
*Portrayed Topics- Various topics are portrayed in anime that the society doesn't accept or doesn't give much ear to, like- LGBTQ, depression, social anxiety, love issues, PTSD, bullying, etc. Topics like these are brought to light and discussed vastly.
*Motivation and Quotes- The best anime in the world take you to a whole other universe altogether. It gives teachings about friendship, coping up with sadness, winning against all odds, and giving fresh perspectives to your world view. They don't always blabber about the lines of justice and the narrow righteous path. They tell that sometimes, its okay to break the rules.
*Voice Actors and Actresses- They are a vital part of the anime industry. The way in which they show their expressions through their voice is just amazing. I really find it impressive how they convey the right amount of emotions in the right direction.
*Something to learn- There's always something to learn from every anime. For example, I learnt about Marie Antoinette Syndrome from Tokyo Ghoul, from the scene when Kaneki was tortured.

Music: The music that anime uses is just spectacular. The songs have a intense beat which makes me personally more attached to the anime. It also gives you a first-impression of how good the series is. There’s also some anime where the series is not so good but the song and the opening is just extraordinary. Some people might know which anime i’m talking about. Basically, anime songs and openings is one of the things you’d probably be looking for in an anime and makes an anime memorable.
Because it’s entertaining… that’s about it but you know what I really love about anime that makes it so entertaining? Anime can literally be about anything.
