What's Next for the Mandalorian?

I finally finished watching the Mandalorian, both seasons, and I’m left with more questions. As last we saw it could go in so many different directions. My first thought was about Grogu (the child) and what becomes of him. I’m very curious on his origin. Is there a planet of Yoda type creatures that he somehow managed to be taken from? Why wasn’t anyone else looking for him? There was a reference to Grogu seeing the darksaber before. How did he escape?

At the end of season 2 Grogo joins Luke Skywalker to begin training to control the force. Does he finish the training before Luke goes into his self-exile? I think this is important because Luke goes into exile after losing Ben Solo to the Dark Side of the force. Is Palpatine the one behind getting Grogu blood for whatever experiment they were conducting. Will we see other characters from the movies enter into the series?

The darksaber, a very powerful saber, and as I understand it was constructed by a Mandalorian that was sensitive to the force. It was made known that this has to be won to be able to claim ownership. With that being known and Mando winning if from Moth Gideon, where does the relationship with Bo-Katan go. Mando stated he didn’t want it and tried to give it to Bo-Katan. Will they battle over it? Will Mando deliberately lose so Bo-Katan wins it? Another thought was somehow Moth Gideon defeats Mando, but doesn’t kill him, takes the saber back and then Bo-Katan defeats Moth Gideon. Will Mando join up with Bo-Katan and help in reclaiming their planet?

If Mando doesn’t join up with Bo-Katan, where does he go? His mission was to unite the Child with that of his own kind. Before that he was a bounty hunter. Does that continue or does something happens that makes him search for the child again? I gathered that the period is after the rebellion was won and before Ben Solo is turned to the dark side. Grogu is aware of the force and demonstrated he was able to use the force. How old is Grogu? Yoda made mention that when Luke reaches 900 years looks as go he would not. Will Grogu be a todler for years?

Moth Gideon is an interesting character. Is he working on his own self interests or is he being manipulated by Palpatine. We know that Vader removed Palpatine from the throne, but we don’t know how long it took for him to start pulling the strings again. Moth Gideon doesn’t seem to have the ability to use the force, but he may have already sensed what was going to happened and allowed them to play out. Yes, I’m looking for twists like that. With Moth Gideon twist, it puts the child at risk and could put Mando and the Child back together again. It also could make Mando and Bo-Katan allies as she goes after the darksaber and Mando after the child.

So what I would like to see would be the origin of Grodu. Where did he come from, who was his parents and why was he being protected and sought after? I would also like to know more about the darksaber, it’s origin and how Moth Gideon came by it. Then I would also like to see that Moth Gideon is a sith apprentice. Another idea would be Moth Gideon doesn’t know he’s being played by Palpatine. We already know that there isn’t that many Jedi left, and Skywalker is trying to train more to become Jedi, but how many were train at this time. Does Luke go on missions to help planets regain control? He came for Grodu, does he seek out other with Jedi qualities? I hear there are some spinoff coming, I hope they cover some of these questions and take us on a wonderful journey in a galaxy far far away.
