In the midst of the AI boom, job offers for "training AI models" are popping up everywhere 🍄. It sounds like a modern way to earn extra cash, but my recent experience with the AIxBlock platform shows how easily you can fall into a spiral of lies and put your identity at risk! 🛡️⚠️

1. The Bait: LinkedIn and Google Sheets 🎣📝

It all started with a recruitment post on LinkedIn. Instead of a professional application form, candidates were asked to enter their email addresses into a simple Google Sheet. This is a mass-collection method for gathering leads from people looking for remote work. 📥👥

2. Invitation in Spam (The Ignored Warning) 📧🚫

The official invitation to the platform came from [email protected]. The message landed straight in my SPAM folder, but since the company domain looked legitimate, I ignored this detail – after all, spam filter errors happen to everyone 🤷‍♂️.

The email was specific:

"Hi, Boaz Onyango has invited you to join AIxBlock on our platform. Click the button below to accept this invitation..." 📩

I recognized the sender's name from the initial contact, the domain matched, so I moved forward. Little did I know that the name Boaz Onyango would soon become "unknown" to the platform... 🤔🕵️‍♂️

3. The "KYC First" Trap: Passport for Entry 🔑🛂

This was the turning point! After logging into datajob.aixblock.io, the system put up a wall: a mandatory Identity Verification (KYC) 🛑. I couldn’t check the payment panel, the rates, or profile settings. The message was clear: "Give us a scan of your passport, or you see nothing." I assumed this was a standard industry security procedure and uploaded the document. This was the mistake that opened the door to my sensitive data! 🤦‍♂️💥

4. Shock in the "Payment" Tab 💸😱

Only after handing over my passport scan did I gain full access to the dashboard. In the payment section, I discovered I had been assigned to an external intermediary agency that was never mentioned before:

5. Absurdity and Gaslighting: The Agency That "Doesn't Exist" 🎭🌫️

When I clicked the "Support" button in the payment tab, the system displayed contact details for FreelancerHub with a dead email address: [email protected] ❌. I decided to clarify this, and that’s when the lies began:

AIxBlock (The Platform) claimed in an official response that... they had no idea who FreelancerHub was and didn't know why their system was displaying it 🤥. They completely disowned Boaz, despite their own automated system sending me an invitation signed with his name! 🤖📬

Boaz (The Coordinator) also denied the existence of FreelancerHub, claiming it was a "system error" and that his own contract with AIxBlock hadn't even been finalized yet 😵‍.

The Conclusion: I found myself in a "Triangle of Lies" 🔺. My biometric data was inside a system where no one took responsibility for who was actually managing it! 🔐🤷‍♂️

6. Exit Strategy: Saving My Identity 🏃‍♂️💨

Despite AIxBlock's later offer to let me stay as an "individual worker," I lost all trust in the company. I took immediate action:

Froze my ID/Social Security (PESEL) in the national registry – an absolute must when your passport is circulating in such a shady environment! 🛡️🇵🇱

Initiated "Delete Account" in the dashboard (Warning: the system has a 7-day grace period – yet another trap!) ⏳🛑

Sent a formal email to support demanding the immediate, manual deletion of my KYC files 📧🔥
