It's almost the end of May. There are lots of anime that have come out this year. But still which anime has gained the most popularity and which is my favourite one. So in this I'm going to tell you about one of the most popular anime at the end of this month.

As there are lots of anime being released, we will pick only a few ones. We will discuss the story, characters and other good things about the anime.

Note: There may be little spoilers ahead. If you haven't watched these anime, you can skip it. Or you can read it to know a little more about the anime. It may give you a little more excitement.

Jujutsu Kaisen

This story is mainly based on Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Gege Akutami wrote the manga. Shueisha published it and Viz Media licensed it to publish it in North America. The manga first came on 5th March, 2018. It's still ongoing. Till now the manga series has 15 volumes. Later on in 2020, Mappa announced the anime and launched the first episode on 8th October, 2020. Crunchyroll licensed the anime to show it on their platform. The anime has just finished. It has a total of 24 episodes. Jujutsu Kaisen english sub and dub episodes are available to watch.

Jujutsu Kaisen started on 8th October 2020. It has been a good anime from the beginning. Jujutsu Kaisen is pretty similar to Naruto anime. Just like Naruto's nine tails Uji also carries the curse king Sukuna. It has an awesome teacher like Kakashi. His name is Satoru Gojo. But there are lots of things different from Naruto. In Jujutsu Kaisen, the main protagonist is powerful, not a weakling. Satoru Gojo (his teacher) is the strongest character as of the ending of the first season.

Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is pretty famous in the anime world. This anime has been on the screen for a long time. The writer just finished writing the manga. It may be the end of the story for the manga readers but anime watchers still have a long way to go. Hajime Isayama wrote the manga. Kodansha decided to publish it through their press. Later Kodansha USA also released this manga in North America. The first chapter came on 9th September, 2009 and it ended on 9th April, 2021. It's a pretty long series. It has a total of 34 volumes. Here's a little synopsis below

The plot of Attack on Titan centers on a civilization inside three walls, the last location where humans still live. Over one hundred years ago, humanity was driven to the brink of extinction after the emergence of humanoid giants called Titans, who attack and eat humans on sight. The last remnants of humanity retreated behind three concentric walls and enjoyed nearly a century of peace. To combat Titans, the nation's military employs Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, a set of waist-mounted grappling hooks and gas-powered propulsion enabling immense mobility in three dimensions.

The anime series came out on 7th April, 2013. It's still ongoing. It has a total of four seasons with several movies and OVAs. Speaking of the anime, it's available on English sub and dub. But the dub version is a little bit difficult to understand. That's why you should use Attack on Titan season 1 subtitles. You can find other seasons' subtitles too.

Seven Deadly Sins

Last but not the least we have The Seven Deadly Sins. Just like other anime, the origin of this anime is also manga. Nakaba Suzuki wrote the manga and Kodansha published it. It came out on 10th October, 2012 and ended on 25th March, 2020. It has a total of 41 volumes.

The anime adaptation came on 5th October, 2014. It has a total of 5 seasons and it's still going. The Seven Deadly Sins english dub is also available. Overall it's a pretty successful anime till now.

There are many live action movies on this show. Studio Deen produced the anime and Susumu Nishizawa directed it. There are other crew members also but I haven't mentioned them as it will make the post very big for readers.

These are my personal favourite anime in the month of May. I hope you also came across any of them during your lockdown.
