Soon after the manga got an award from Kodansha, Liden Films decided to make an anime series on it. So the production of this anime series started right after the manga got the award. The studio hired Koichi Hatsumi as the director. He is also famous for his direction in other anime also. The studio also hired Yasuyiki Mutou as the story writer for the anime. The music was composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi. The anime was aired on 11th April, 2021. Till now, it has only six episodes and it's ongoing. Tokyo Revengers english sub and dub both are available. However, the latest episodes always come in english sub first. Tokyo Revengers uncensored is also available.

Other than anime, there is a live action movie also. Warner Bros Japan produced this movie. As you all know, movies never become as popular as anime. It happens because it's very difficult to imitate the choreography of anime in movies. The movie has a short time span also.
