THOUGHTS IN THE AIR

Breath Makes Dreams Become Reality

By Katherine D. GrahamPublished about a month ago • 6 min read

In most every culture and era, there are stories of true ignorance, the use of ambiguities that are twisted to ignore moral responsibilities and shameful lies. They left Kat gasping for breath.

Kat breathed in slowly and deeply. She was thankful that she could write and express herself in spite of being a female, her political leanings, psychological assessments or social status. Democracy has its shortcomings, but it holds the least offensive options.

Kat prepared herself to challenge the promulgated myths created by a testosterone-based male-dominated way of thinking that cannot be dismissed  as a conspiracy theory. The stories of women being gatherers and male hunters are being debunked with anatomical and physiological evidence that supports men have an advantage over women in activities requiring speed and power, such as sprinting and throwing, but that women have an advantage over men in activities requiring endurance, such as running. Both sets of activities were essential to hunting in ancient times. Individuals join together to find a way to deal with challenges of Nature or cease to exist.

Kat controlled her breath. Going slow and steady like a turtle is the best way to exist on the remnants of Turtle island, that has not been intact for about 200 million years.  When it split during the Early Jurassic Epoch, dinosaurs had a gender, could change genders or were parthenogenetic. She would slow down her breathing to a torpor brumation.

Bradypnea, abnormally slow breathing, is caused by opioid or heavy alcohol use among other things such as strangulation. Pornographic depictions of sexual choking, erotic asphyxiation, often glorify the intensification of feelings of pleasure, unless restricting oxygen to leads to peeing oneself, getting red eyes and blotches or death.

Hypoxemia, low levels of oxygen in the blood, help an individual bypass the thinking self. Temporary low oxygen levels alter brain chemistry and induce trance states and increase mental clarity in shamans.

During periods of high brain activity, three breaths per minute requires neuronal astrocytes cells to stop using oxygen to release energy in mitochondria.  Instead, neurons create  the energy carrying molecule, ATP (adenosine triphosphate), without oxygen, producing lactate, which then fuels neurons. This alters intrinsic and extrinsic electric charges and currents, and magnetic fields that are generated and interact with each other.

Mindful breathing was how Kat could observe her thoughts from within the chaos. The chants of a prayer, or a song can have the same effect that allows access to the sacred feminine of the dark unknown, known as  Mary Magdalene, Isis, Hathor or the many other fertility goddesses. Kat used slow breathing to access her Fairy Godmother.

Kat imagined the Fairy Godmother residing in the maternally transmitted mitochondria of males and females. She was a radicle leader, from an alien source, who controlled authentic needs of the nonlocal mind and directed what some call universal consciousness that transcends time and space.

Mitochondria emerged from anaerobic bacterial ancestors, thought to have originated about 1.5 billion years ago. As oxygen increased, they became endosymbionts that rely on their hosts for a safe home or transport.

Controlled  breathing influences the mitochondria that control chemical reactions in cellular processes such as energy production and homeostasis, stress responses. It helps improve immunity, metabolism, and cellular fate and cellular alterations outside of cell,  by altering intricate inter- and intracellular communication systems via cytoskeletal networks.

Mitochondria supply the raw materials for creating the neurotransmitters glutamate and acetylcholine, which have an instantaneous effect on the brain, nerves, and muscles.  Mitochondria synthesize all steroid hormones, including cortisol, estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone, making them key regulators of sleep, sex, and stress.

Kat took another  deep breath. Mitochondria are the portal that moves energy between the inert genome and the dynamic environment. They create a worm hole that connects the past to the present and future. They regulate resistance and shape the electric current life force into something usable.

Studies suggest that mitochondria can communicate instantaneously in a field through Quorum sensing, through bio-photons and non-chemical means. Communication through cognitive broadcasting allows indirect transportation of ions, metabolites, and other intracellular messengers through vesicles.

Kat mused, perhaps vesicles can become airborne, like spores, altering energy production. The Fairy Godmother was the Vase-maker, who creates the vessels that can carry the universal energy and retain the flavour, colour, charm and force of the spirit that inspires creative transformation into matter to redeem the immortal soul.

Perhaps they instantaneously and simultaneously communicate non-physical, intangible thoughts, in the air, between organisms in several places that are not connected, altering physical tangible aspects of fundamental patterns, feelings and knowing.

Perhaps they regulate  how elemental aspects of matter join and  establish relationships that cause the least damage to self and others who share the Earth.

Perhaps the songs cause the light of the stars to shine in the eyes of those who sing it.

Kat  sensed the primordial song that Orpheus used to move the ship the Argos into the water and put the hound of Hades, Cerberus to sleep. Solomon used the Songs of Psalms to speak of love. The Furies used their songs  to lay their anger.  Songs let energy flow in a spiral current across the universe to the earth and between the gut, mind and heart then returns to the universe, and in the process, deliver a wish-fulfilling dream.

Kat breathed in knowing she held the song of fire that sparks the life force that some call chi and others call Soma, spoken of in ancient Ayurvedic texts,

Soma  has a variety of pathways and mechanisms that influence action.

Somatic or body cell contain the genetic history in the DNA. They are controlled by the mitochondria. The mitochondria’s genetic system is separate and distinct from the cell’s nuclear genome and can switch genes on and off as an organism grows, develops, and responds to their environment.

Mitochondria act as the Fairy Godmother, who passes messages along the dendritic arms into the spherical central star-shaped neuron bulb at the heart of a nerve, called the soma, then via pseudo-saltatory conduction then pass the messages to other neurons to make dreams come true.

The moon influences many organisms. The moon goddess Selena, mother to the nine muses, was the guardian of Soma and healer of immortality. Soma flows from the white-faced lunar deity  Chandra. Soma's intoxicating effect, that makes a person a 'lunatic,' cycles in a lunar month and with solar cycles.

In the RigVeda (8.79.2-6) written 1700-1100 BC, Soma 'covers the naked, heals the sick, lets the blind see and lame step forth and those who seek find what they seek and receive the treasure and find what was lost'. Soma, often associated with a magical herb that affects the power of spiritual beings in everyday life. Soma, the true nature of a spiritual presence,  comes from the spirit molecule found in plants.

Tolkien describes Simbelmynë,  a small, white flower in Middle-earth that blooms in all seasons and grows thickly over the graves of the dead and releases the “ever mind”, that holds memory. The wild Syrian rue of the family Nitrariacea, and Snow Drop whose root is called Moly, are healing plants of spiritual immortality and are used in treating dementia.

The Aruvedic Sanjeevani Bhuti, Selaginella bryopteris, (of  the milkweed family)  and Selago, the golden herb of the Druids, are thought to have created Soma and celestial manna,  formed from the dew that is found on the rose and used in mystic cures. The concept of Soma flows through myths in the Talmud and Koran, Bible and other sources.   Soma is the chemically charged ambrosia often associated with Honey, and honey dew, excreted by sap-sucking insects.

Kat took a deep breath in and released it. The prefix ‘So’ means the same,  thus, in this manner and associates effect to original cause.  'Ma', is a term for mother.

Her imaginary Fairy Godmother, the maternally derived mitochondria, was the sacred mother, found in genes in the short arm of the X chromosome and in the maternally derived mitochondrial genetic material. These genes codes for N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a natural hallucinogen, called the ‘spirit molecule’ and Monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A) that codes for the Warrior Gene.

MAO-A is a polymorphic gene. Low levels are linked to happiness in women, but dispose males towards alcoholism and anti-social, aggressive, abusive behaviour. High levels are associated with depression. Monoamine oxidase inactivators (MAOI) disrupt memory and alter emotional responses.

Kat breathed in as she raised herself on her toes and exhaled as she stomped her heels to return the energy to the ground. She bowed giving thanks for the timeless source of inspiration born of the habit of controlled breathing and observing no-thought.

Breath connects what once was called faith, chance or science fiction to the mitochondria that houses the sacred feminine, her Fairy Godmother, who helps make dreams become reality.
