This ‘Boba Fett’ Star Lets Slip That [SPOILER] Happened During an Interview

Actors usually are extremely careful to avoid spoiling the film or show they are staring in, so it is quite rare for a spoiler to come from any of the cast featured in a show or film. This has become an inside joke amongst Marvel fans with actors featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo. Star Wars is usually able to keep pretty tight lips regarding their shows and movies. However, sometimes actors do get bombarded with so many questions and accidentally let something slip. In a recent interview, The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison may have done exactly that when he spoke about an action scene featured in the show.

In a recent interview with ET Canada, Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen sat down to talk about what it was like filming The Book of Boba Fett. The interview started out by discussing how Morrison was brought back to the Star Wars universe, but then the interviewer asked Ming-Na Wen about being a Star Wars fan and how she kept from getting overcome with excitement during filming. This led both Morrison and Wen to talk about how much fun they had on set, and reminisce over the work they did for the show. Then Morrison says, “There’s the great scene when we’re on the gunship and we both...” but Wen quickly shushed him emphatically. Wen tried to save face and pull both of them out by saying, “Is that in The Mandalorian?” but she quickly corrected herself and realized it was not from The Mandalorian. Temuera played it off as well saying, “There was this great scene I was going to talk about, but...it was a great scene.” Fortunately, both of them were able to laugh it off with a bit of friendly banter.

This spoiler is not a major one. It gives little information about the future of the series. One look at Reddit would spoil more than Morrison did in half the time. There is also the possibility that it is not even accurate. This could be a deleted scene or an incredibly elaborate joke, but that is not likely. Knowing that there is a scene on a gunship does not give much away to fans. There are millions of gunships in Star Wars, and there have been dozens of action scenes on gunships in the past series and movies. It might be a minor spoiler for those fans who wanted to go into the show completely blind, but for the most part, this is a minor spoiler. For that, Temuera Morrison, and Ming-Na Wen are surely grateful.

The Book of Boba Fett is only three episodes in, and it has been excellent so far. Ming-Na Wen and Temuera Morrison work well together, and their characters play off of each other in a way that feels fun and intimidating. From the interview, it is easy to see that both Morrison and Wen enjoyed their time working together and became good friends, and that is reflected in the show. It has been an incredibly entertaining ride so far, and the stakes will surely get higher for the rest of the season. Boba Fett is finally getting the show he deserves that fans have been clamoring for all these years. Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand is also an amazing and cool addition. Her performance is just top-notch. Robert Rodriguez is also a huge Star Wars fan, and it shows in his directing. All together this cast and crew are bringing Star Wars’ favorite bounty hunter to life like never before, and no small spoiler can ever steal that away.

New episode of The Book of Boba Fett premieres every Wednesday on Disney+.
