Which Anime To Watch On Hulu

One of my favorite things about Hulu is their extensive collection of anime they have available for us. That being said, it's easy to get lost in the sea of anime. There's so much to choose from it can be a little overwhelming. Well, I am here to help you skip all the scrolling. These are the top anime to watch on Hulu.

Also, I have written a similar article about the anime on Netflix.

Noragami

Noragami is probably one of the top ten anime I've ever watched. Japanese god Yato is working to be a richer and recognized god. He does any and all jobs he can get from humans. Hiyori, a human, saves Yato during one of his jobs and ends up half way between the human world and the spirit world. Their adventures are hilarious and heart-warming. This is perfect for when you want to invest in the characters and story.

25 episodes. Genre: Shonen. Made in 2010.

Is This A Zombie?

Is This A Zombie? is one of the dumbest anime ever. It's one of those anime that you watch in amused what-the-fuck-ery. Yes it's a harem anime. But it's also a magical boy zombie anime. Does that confuse you but intrigue you? That's how it lured me in too. In all honesty, this is the perfect anime if you're drunk or high, or wanting to watch something ridiculous over a weekend.

22 Episodes. Genre: Comedy, Harem. Made in 2011.

Devils' Line

Tokyo Ghoul, but make is sexy(er). Vampires aren't sparkly or immortal, but they drink blood and have superhuman strength. Most people do not know vampires are a thing, they blend in to human society easily. But they are starved of blood, this leads to animalistic responses to smelling or being around blood. A young human woman, Tsukasa, discovers that vampires are real. She meets Anzai, a half vampire who saves her life.

12 episodes. Genre: Romance (Rating is Mature). Made in 2018.

Tokyo Ghoul

Devils' Line, but make it cool(er). Tokyo Ghoul is a very good anime, also in my top ten of all time. Ken Kaneki is a very dynamic and interesting main character. Kaneki is a young university student and he ends up going out on a date that ends in disaster, which makes him half ghoul. Ghouls are superhuman people who need to eat human flesh to survive. It's gory, interesting, and well written.

48 episodes. Genre: Horror. Made in 2014.

Death Parade

Death Parade is absolutely fascinating. It takes place in purgatory and purgatory is a bar where you have to play games. It's incredibly important that you win, because losing leads to deadly consequences. The characters are charming and beautiful. It address death and what it may be like after in such a unique way. The animation is also beautiful. It is the only one on Hulu that is sub only.

12 episodes. Genre: Drama. Made in 2015.

Seraph of The End: Vampire Reign

Seraph of the End has a very unique take on vampire versus human conflict. Unlike Devils' Line or Tokyo Ghoul, the battle is fought by children. The world nearly ended due to a man-made virus that kills anyone older than 13. Children are kept in small spaces like cattle, and are given protectionin exchange for blood. Childhood best friends turned enemies by species end up fighting in a war they didn't want to be in.

24 episodes. Genre; Horror. Made in 2015.
