A rabbit scurried across the wet grass of the valley, which had been enveloped by the starry black of the night. It's mighty legs propelled it through the land at remarkable speed. It neared it's burrow, a hole in the ground under a hit in the valley.

As it started it's decent to the sanctuary of it's home, a long, bony hand grabbed one of its legs pulling it back out into the night air. It squirmed and wriggled in desperate hopes of slipping from it's captors grasp, but with no success.

"Prey..." Said the hunter, folding his wings back under his long black cloak. He stuck one bony finger through the rabbits heart, killing it instantly. Dark red blood ran down the pelt of the once lively animal, causing it to turn from white to red and glimmer in the light of the moon.

The man walked towards his hut, the lights still on from when he had departed hours ago. He opened the door and stepped inside, embracing the musty air and the rotting wood. He looked around the room, and found what he looking for.

"Have you done your exercises yet?"

"Yes father." Said a voice from the shadows in the corner of the small hut. "When can I hunt with you?"

"When you can defeat me in a spar. Now stoke the fire. We have rabbit for supper."

A girl emerged from the shadows. A teen, with long black hair and a muscular physique. She floated in the air, about an inch from the ground, towards the fireplace and threw some logs into it causing Sparks to fly from the cobblestone furnace.

"I want to hunt. There's no point in training if I can't do what I'm training for."

"Then by all means, let us spar before the sun rises." Said the father, opening the door once more after tossing the rabbit onto the table in the hut. "We have time."

"Fine then." Said the girl, floating towards the door. "But if I win, I'm hunting with you tomorrow."

"That would be the plan." Said the man, emerging from the hut once more. "Be prepared, I will not hold back."

The man spread his mighty wings, tossing his cloak to the side and revealing his clothing. He wore a black leather tunic and dark burlap pants, with black boots. On his shoulder he wore a pad with a crossed out engraving on it.

He flapped his wings, propelling himself up into the air at an alarming speed. Yet the girl was unphased.

She floated in the doorway for a moment, closing her eyes. And then, the sparks came. She opened her eyes, which glowed purple like a wizards flame. Dark sparks circled her body, as though she were the sun, and they were the planets. The white dress she wore became tinted purple from the sparks, as did her pale skin.

She ascended to the level of her father, who stayed level in the air, flapping his wings with an undeniably remarkable level of control. They looked each other in the eyes, both surrounded by the night air, which was soon to be disturbed by their battle.

"Shall we begin Morganna?" Said the demon man, his dark wavy hair shining in the starlight and rustling in the breeze. "Keep in mind, I will not be holding back for any reason. And if I accidentally kill you, well, that will be due to your own incompetence."

"Good. I wouldn't recommend performing any worse than you would in a life or death situation." said Morganna, propelling herself through the air towards the man with a blast of black and purple flames. "That would be a grave mistake"

"Very well." Said the man, and then, it begun.
