The Order of the Blue Llama

It was dusk and Fredrick had just checked in to cabin 407. It had been sometime since he had spent time away from Brooklyn and the Appalachian Mountains were the perfect getaway. His friend Turner had recommended them after his messy divorce, kept raving about the Blue Llamas. Well Fredrick was about to get him some Blue Llama, whatever that meant.

About midnight he decided to turn in but it wasn’t long before he heard strange noises, they seemed close, but he couldn’t tell. It’s the forest, your imagination, it’s nothing. But it wasn’t nothing, the noises kept going, if anything they were getting louder, more insistent.

Fredrick, gown on, walking staff in hand went to find out what the hell was going on. He followed the source of the noises; they were animalistic, primal, brutal. The closer he got, the more he could identify individual grunts and wails, the sounds of fighting filled his ears but he couldn’t turn back. Suddenly, in a nearby clearing he saw them….the Blue Llamas. They were magnificent, majestic, magical beings. Made more glorious by the filth they fought against. A darkness, a shadow, vile horned creatures that melded into the night, that came out of nowhere, attacking relentlessly. The Llamas fought bravely, and yet they never seemed to make progress. His eyes searched the battle for hope and found it. Around him were others all in their cabin robes and with their walking staffs, staring in awe. “We must help them” came and urgent cry, then he was running. Afterwards others would tell him he yelled that first battle charge, yet right now, blood lust boiling and quivering with rage Fredrick didn’t even notice.

He was one with the staff, swirling, agile a born fighter. He flowed through the battle exacting sweet death on those vile creatures from the shadows, bringing aid to these incredible Blue Llamas. Silence. The battle had been won, the humans and Llamas had triumphed over the darkness, fatigue took the humans as a new dawn rose over the not so distant mountains. Everything faded to black as exhaustion overcame them.

When he woke, Fredrick was back in his cabin, staff in the corner by the fireplace, had it only been a dream? Then he saw it. His robe was gone and in its place a new robe, woven of some exotic fabric, in a vivid blue. He rose; pain wracking his whole body, but he made himself walk across and gingerly put on this brilliant blue battle robe. For that is what it was, a battle robe, a gift from the Blue Llamas for helping them in their time of need. The pain washed away as if by magic. It was no dream, he, Fredrick Quentin Giles, was now a member of an ancient and secret magical order, The Blue Llamas.

He wanted to tell the world, yet no one. Only now at the end did he understand why Turner had only told him and him alone. He knew that in time he would tell only one soul, a soul that needed the Blue Llamas as much as they needed new allies. For in this world there was much evil, yet as their order grew The Blue Llamas would ever fight to hold back the enemies of darkness. The Order of the Blue Llamas would rise once again to protect those that needed them the most.

The Order of the Blue Llamas was a secret society bred out of desperate need for survival in the Ancient Times before humans walked this Earth. Llamas wandered the barren plains and mountain passes. Cruising through the undergrowth like the cool dudes that they were. They were a martial order formed to fight the horned Demons from beyond the Void that encompasses this Earth, they travel through Wormholes in Space digesting everything in there path and when they arrived at Earth they realised this was a different planet to what they had encountered before.

Before these Horned Demons would massacre anyone and anything in their path gobbling up light as they travelled through space via these worm holes. Black Holes that exist in space as Stars die. But no one had ever wondered if the Stars were dying through natural means of energy transference or if other beings were cruising through space and eating Suns and planets. When the Horned Demons entered our Milky Way back in 7 B.C. the Blue Llamas rallied their epic abilities that they had been born with on this Earth that was their home to serve and protect. A Secret Order of which no one knew anything about fighting interstellar space Demons hunting our planets.

An intergalactic event was in the offering. Earth was poised to become the final prize for the Horned Demon Swarm coming from Vanjihilik deeep in the outer rim of space. They had been travelling for a millenia searching for another planet to consume as they had consumed the other Galaxies Priox and Gataray, now entering into our Milky Way they would come up against the Ancient Order of the Blue Llamas who were engrained with Kinetic, Telepathic and Fighting Abilities enough to protect our beautiful Earth from being attacked by these horrendous Demon Swarm that were sending out their little minions in what was effectively the first move in a game of Chess between the Noble Order of the Ancient Blue Llamas and the Horned Demon Swarm from Vanjihilik.

The Blue Llamas had integrated their way into our society. You wouldn't notice them as they had the ability to transform the bodies into whichever shape was the most useful for defence, offence, loving, dancing, singing, sleeping, whatever was required. Their Society had existed on this planet just after the Dinosaurs got wiped out in a blanket freeze that they couldn't escape.

They had survived by hibernating in an intricate cave system intertwhined around the Earths core. The Mother the Cerebrum that lived in the centre of the planet that they only knew as O'rgunas Prime had reached out to them in their minds and told them that the planet could expect a massive cold snap as a result of the Demon Horde nipping past the outlining systems on their way through testing the boundaries of the Milky Way that had been under her protection since the beginning.

The Blue Llamas had come to many positions of power around the Earth, such that they could influence events. Many people had heard of the Blue Llamas under many different guises throughout history, as they strove to protect the Earth. Orders such as the Knights Templar established in 1118 by a French knight. The Japanese Samurai around a similar time. Then of course there was the Illuminati established in the 18th century by Bavarian philosopher. Members of all of societies most ruthless secret and not so secret societies throughout history. Some of the most famous thinkers and scientists of our time are thought to be members of the Order of the Blue Llamas such as Sir Isaac Newton, Ludwig van Beethoven and Stephen Hawking. Some of the most visionary leaders of our time such as Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, Charles De Gaulle and Barack Obama. Titans of industry such as Bill Gates and apple founder Steve Jobs.

All these incredible historical figures were all or still are members of the Order of the Blue Llamas. Members that have desperately tried to influence the Earth's most prominent governments and scientific movements over centuries in order to move the Earth into a position of strength when it would be needed the most. At the Earth's most desperate hour. As soon as the Horned Demon Swarm arrived, the whole population on Earth would be at risk. It would be the cataclysmic event that all the Earths' religions had been predicting for hundreds of years now. The same events predicted by so many ancient cultures throughout history, such as the Egyptians, the Aztecs and the Mayans. who at any one point had all predicted the end of civilisation.

The Order of the Blue Llamas through key figures in history in the year 2025 had set up a Space Force a united initiative between NATO, the US, the Russian Federation and the newly formed Republic of Oceania a conglomeration of countries including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, South-East Asia and the Pacific Islands. Back in 2021 they formed a massively Republic to counter the growing influence of the Republic of China post the Covid-19 pandemic. The Space Force initiative had established a newly minted settlement on nearby Mars, called the Mars-Terra Experiment. Furthermore, they had constructed effectively a nearby battlestation on the Earth's own moon.
