The Mercurial Mind

How to adapt mental frequencies to manoeuvre the mind at will

Of course you can change your mind. The mind is Mercurial by nature. Look at how both Gemini and Virgo are both ruled by Mercury. These planets are mutable — changeable. The essence is to switch forms.

Mercury rules the mind, thought patterns, daily matters, all comms — all the little details which make up a bigger picture.

The mind is a collection of cells at your disposal. All these little details (neurons) which make up a bigger picture (and ultimately projects pictures — our existence). The benefit of hooking into your higher mind is your get to step back enough to see the mind in action, note it’s tendencies, then allocate tasks, instead of letting it running the show with busy work (3rd house / 6th house) (Gemini / Virgo) and incessant, potentially damaging thought (often times so quick it’s unconscious).

Both of these houses rule routines, communication, your day to day, daily commutes, — it’s all very dot, dot, dot, move, go, go. It keeps our physicality busy and our mind busy with the checklists, but these are just 2 houses of the Zodiac — and if we don’t know how to monitor the actions of the mind in these houses (like a boss checkin progress), how can we ever hope to use the mind beyond this function to penetrate into the deeper cruxes of our other life areas of say our 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th or 12th houses.

For example:

Consider the frequency difference between the 3rd house (Gemini — neighbours, chats, short-travel (to the shops) etc) and the 8th house (Scorpio — hidden motives, secrets, sex, mystery, research, depth etc). The timing is completely different, the focus is different, the weight is very, very different and it requires a different level of programming to weigh into this mental energy to even see the scope of the potential on offer.

See what I mean?

This is why, I feel, there is so much discontent — because of the illusion and idea that our minds only work on this regular, daily frequency.

No wonder peeps can’t focus.

No wonder anxiety is running rampant.

No wonder we keep repeating the same patterns.

We’re running on auto-pilot on the false premise that this kind of mental functioning is all there is for us, since it’s all we really know, and what we’ve been programmed to belief and thus, act out.

The reason for the timing of this article is to take advantage of this moment in time. We’ve got Mercury and Venus in Libra — new, beautiful ideas — as well as Saturn turning direct — structure and self-responsibility/authority.

The invitation is there — take responsibility over the nature of your thoughts, the nature of your mind.

Is it kind?

Is it patient?

Is it constantly in over-drive?

Here’s your opening to set a baseline of new structures — Saturn is supporting you on that. He wants you to take responsibility for what you do want and don’t want, and he wants you to make moves from there. Take ownership and let no one dictate to you. Saturn always wants you to win, he’s just real about the fact that it will take dedication and commitment to get there.

Mercury is keen for this too — and in cardinal (intitative) air (ideas/thoughts/discussion) you can make moves toward a beautiful mind. A softer, lighter mind. If it’s beautiful in there, so too will your experience be. Not in the sense of dancing in flowers, but just calm, softer — spacious.

Let yourself look at beautiful things, and interject pleasure into your daily routines. Mind breaks for pleasure, for reprieve to keep it agile and adaptable to different frequencies. Binaural beats, theta waves, 432hz frequencies can help you adapt, as can putting your attention on natural elements to help you ground into nature’s rhythms.

You’ll know what it is for you, just pay attention to the details trying to get your attention. Your Mercurial mind keeps pointing to it in-between jobs.

Saturn wants you to take some serious, concentrated time with those details and extrapolate.

Know too, when Saturn’s involved, there’s always a return on investments — time, money, energy.

Make them good ones.

It’s time.
