What is a Capricorn? What lies behind the mystery of this sign? After reading this story, you will have an in depth outlook on Capricorns. If you don't know any Capricorns, after reading this you may want to consider befriending one, but only if you are up for a little challenge.

Ambitious, determined, intelligent, family oriented, loyal and hard working. These are words that I would use to describe the Capricorn. From December 22 to January 19. Symbolized by the goat, the goat symbol is considered to represent a good sign. It indicates a favorable point in life, where you can use your own abilities to achieve greater success. The goat is the perfect animal to represent this star sign. Capricorns are natural born leaders. I mean, how could they not be? They are the only sign to begin and end the year, setting the tone for other zodiacs . If you haven't guessed it by now, yes, I too am a Capricorn. Some of your favorite celebrities are Capricorns as well. Michelle Obama, Diane Keaton, John Legend, Dolly Parton, Bradley Cooper, Regina King, Denzel Washington and the list goes on. I share a birthday with fashion designer Alexander Wang, on December 26. That was the day a star was born.

A few of the greatest strengths of a Capricorn is the willingness to work hard and the determination to succeed. The ambition of a Capricorn is boundless, leaving very little room for relaxation or indolence. According to astrology.com, it reads, “Capricorn is a sign that represents time and responsibility, and its representatives are traditional and often very serious by nature. These individuals possess an inner state of independence that enables significant progress, both in their personal and professional lives. They are masters of self-control and have the ability to lead the way, make solid and realistic plans, and manage many people who work for them at any time. They always learn from their mistakes and get to the top based solely on their experience and their expertise.” Due to me being a part of the Capricorn community, I completely agree with everything stated above. Capricorns are very hard to understand, so when you read things like this, it gives you the proper insight.

Some say that the Capricorn spirit animal is the alligator because of our predatory instincts. Like the alligator, Capricorns have a primeval energy when it comes to observing our “prey”. Like this creature, we can also be very patient and assertive. We will bide your time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack (metaphorically) before taking everyone by surprise at our strength, agility and capabilities to manifest and maintain success. Once we sink our teeth into something, nothing or no one can stop us from getting what we want. Many people may take my comparison of a Capricorn the wrong way, arguing that this may be a bad character trait to have and reflect upon. They may even go as far as comparing what I describe as determination to stubbornness. Let me be frank. Although the Capricorn's determination is what makes you admire us, our stubbornness is the exact thing that can make you want to run the other way; but all in all Capricorns are great. I can biasly admit that we are one of the best star signs. Aside from being determined and ambitious, we are very loyal. Maybe the most loyal of them all. It may take a little time at first to see this side of a Capricorn, but once you peel back those cold and distant layers, you will discover the most lovable and sensitive person. I can admit, Capricorns are a lot of work, and it's going to take just that to get close to one. Work; but once we open up and expose our inner most deepest vulnerabilities, you will realize that the work was all worth it in the end. You will have a lover, a friend, or a business partner for a lifetime. We are undeniably, the greatest of all time.
