In a another realm, gods and goddesses are ruled by the main god Nighe and the goddess Spiri. She wanted to create something outside of their realm that she wanted to love and protect. When she told her plans to Nighe, he decided to help her in creating the planets, humans and supernatural beings. Together they were happy with their creations, living in a sanctuary forest called the Forest of Solari. Nighe decided to dedicate a land specially for her and named it the Valley of Spirus. For a while they were content watching over the humans until they went back to their home when they felt they weren’t needed as much.

-A Few Decades Later-

There were several gypsy tribes gathering to the Valley of Spirus. The elders had called for a meeting to set up new rules and restrictions from recent outsider attacks. The valley was the gypsies last hope as they wanted to ask the god Nighe, and the goddess Spiri for protection. To get a hold of the gods they first had to reach the Forest of Solari, where there are endless fruit and animals to hunt for food. It was said to be the last place the gods were to live before they crossed back into their own realm but leaving a small portal for their mortal creations to reach out to them if needed. The elders or the shamans, who would visit to ask for blessings, knew of the exact location in the forest, but with taking care of the wounded, the tribes selected eight chosen ones to go in their place. Each chosen member set off to the Spirus Gate, which was in the center of the forest. Once there, a door is visibly guarded by two werewolves with the power of time and space. The chosen eight had to bring an offering to pass through. Among the members was a male by the name of Shayde Tempest from the Glacis tribe, who was carrying one of his most prized weapons he handcrafted himself. He brought his favorite hunting tool an bow and arrow. He even handcrafted the arrows with the finest feathers he could find. He wasn’t sure if it would be good enough to impress the guardians but he had to try for the sake of his tribe and the others. Rubbing the back of his head, Shayde took a quick look around to see what the other seven had brought with them. Shayde had seen the others before but didn’t know them personally. As they approached the gate two men could be seen, one was sitting down on a rock with his head down while the other was looking straight at them. Shayde took a deep breath as his hand slightly gripped the bow in his hand.

The male sitting lifted his head as he finally heard them approaching and stood up. “What do you have to offer?” he asked. He had long purple hair with two purple furry ears on the top of his head, glancing over at his partner, who was observing Shayde and the others, though he didn’t have any furry ears on top of his head. Instead, he looked human if Shayde didn’t know any better.

Before Shayde could reply or any of the others, a beautiful woman came through the portal with long black flowing hair. A smile graced her lips as she opened her arms, the two guardians immediately bowed before the goddess Spiri as she beckons the young travelers to approach. “My children, I have seen the sorrow and hard times that has befallen upon you all…”

The travelers glanced at one another briefly before getting closer to the goddess. Shayde spoke up, “Goddess, we have come to ask for your help-“

Spiri held up her hand as she nodded. “I have been watching you travel to the Spirus Gate,” her eyes observing them as she spoke, “I have gave some thought to your troubles and have come to a solution I think will help your situation if you accept,” she said with a gentle melodic voice.

They remained quiet unsure of what to say until Shayde asked, “What is it?”

The two guardians were standing beside Spiri when she turned to the one on her right, “This is Myrios, he is a werewolf gifted with the ability to control time by Nighe,” turning to the other guardian, “This is Zephys who is also a werewolf gifted with the ability to control space by me. Together they guard the gate and can rewrite time when and if I tell them. They are also immortal although they can be killed.”

Myrios raised an eyebrow at her while Zephys grinned at the travelers who were now staring with their mouths slightly open.

“If you wish, I can grant you all something similar but each one of you will control a different element and shall be passed down in each generation to come from your bloodline. You will all go back stronger than you have arrived and save your people. Discuss among yourselves briefly whether you accept or not. If you do, Myrios and Zephys will travel back with you to teach you to learn your new abilities.”

They didn’t take long to agree to the new changes they would undergo, even with being afraid, it seemed to be the only way. Spiri walked up to each traveler changing them into a werewolf and granting them the gift to control and drawing their power from one of the following elements: sun, moon, fire, water, earth, wind, lightening, ice, time and space. Each one would go back to their tribe to tell them what the goddess said, “When you defeat your enemies, this will be the new arrangement between the tribes. The sun tribe will be the new leaders of all the tribes, the moon tribe will be the new night guardians of all the tribes and the fire tribe will assist the sun tribe by being second in command to them. The water tribe will be the healers, the earth tribe will be the hunters, the air tribe will be the advisors and contain the knowledge of all the tribes. The ice tribe can join either the water or the moon tribe to be healers or guardians of the night. And lastly, the lightening tribe will have the option to master their skills in the water, ice, air, and moon tribe as one day they will take the place of one of the time and space werewolf guardians, who will groom an apprentice each.”
