The Black Notebook of Power

During a snow-filled day in December, the snowflakes fell onto the soft powder that already formed over the winter season; a lady named Angela was out walking and in a cute way playing in the snow. Once Angela was finished frolicking, she stumbled upon a little black notebook with the inscription, "Within this book contains the power to make a change with purpose." Angela proceeded with childish curiosity and picked up the book, and then, she opened it. To her amazement, the book was a blank slate, a tabula rosa, if you will, as if it were a blank journal that someone dropped from their backpack after school. Angela watched the first page, and the book started to inscribe, "Angela's Journal of Purpose." Angela was in shock and began to gaze at the inscription. She could not believe her own eyes. "The book seemed as though something was possessing the book," she thought to herself. Then, out of nowhere, a sort of spiral appeared, and a small figure of a gnome type of image appeared as a sort of projection from the book and said, "Angela, my dear, you are one lucky lady. This book was the Magical Journal of one of the greatest wizards of all time. He left this book here for you to find and make the world a better place. Still, first, you must prove to everyone that you are now one of the greatest witches of all time by requesting from the book that you win the lottery as proof that you are capable of some of the most awesome and greatest magic in the world!" The gnome disappeared almost as fast as the gnome appeared. There was a picture of the gnome on the second page with the gnome's thumbs-up, and she was still winking at Angela, who was in absolute disbelief.

Angela proceeded to ask, "Now, how am I supposed to win the lottery magically?" The book sprung into action! There was a loud whoosh, and appearing in front of Angela was a ticket to the local lottery. The numbers were already chosen, listed as five, eleven, twenty-one, thirty-three, and forty-four, and the numbers lit up with a golden glow. Angela slid the ticket into her pocket as she looked around, and no one was in sight as all of this occurred. Angela went about her day at her tiny home doing chores and cooked a nice Vegan meal that she and her family ate. Angela was shy, so she decided to keep the information about the circumstances that happened in the snow to herself until she won the lottery. That night the lottery company broadcasted the winning lottery numbers on live television. Angela watched in awe as the five numbers on her ticket, five, eleven, twenty-one, thirty-three, and forty-four, were chosen randomly. Hence, it seemed. However, she noticed something that no one else did: the lottery balls with the numbers attached to them were whirling around in a circle, and her numbers seemed to shoot up like a rocket into the chosen number slots. Angela was the winner, and the Magical Journal was proven to be one of the greatest magically enchanted books the world has ever known. With delight, Angela jumped up and down and yelled, "I won! I won the lottery!" Her family said, "when did you buy a ticket?" Angela elaborated to her family about what happened out in the snow, and they would not believe her until she asked the journal, "Magical Journal, will you prove to my family that you are a powerful magical artifact?"

Then, the Magical Journal shot out mini fireworks from the third page. As the last firework exploded, some letters formed 'CONGRATULATIONS!' Angela and her family were stunned and in shock at what had just occurred. Almost immediately, there was a knock at the door, and after opening the door, there stood a tall man with a long beard dressed in a Magical Garment. The man said, "I am Morrowin Blonde Beard the Great," to the amazement of the family, especially Angela, their jaws almost dropped to the floor. Having guests over was a rare occasion for the family, being that the family was hermit type of people. The family replied with greetings such as "hi" and "hello." Angela immediately asked, "why did you leave this book for me?" Morrowin explained, "Angela, my dear, I have heard of your life of difficulty all these years, and your soul is that of an Angel here to spread great happiness on this planet. Angela, you deserve this book more than anyone else I have ever known." Angela was embarrassed and wondered to herself, "how did he know all of this about me?" The Magical Journal inscribed on one of the pages of the journal: "all the answers you seek are, however, only an inquiry of this book for you to find the truth." Angela started to ask the book questions as if Angela was alone and in a manner consistent with a child asking Santa Clause for gifts on Christmas, "what is my purpose? How can I help people? Whom should I help? Should I help myself? What kind of help can you provide Magical Journal? How do we create world peace?" The book's pages flew open, and upon each page, some pictures showed magical instances of healing sick people, gold appearing out of thin air, people getting rescued from floods. Different sorts of dangerous circumstances, and the last page was a picture of planet Earth with a zoom-in effect showing everyone hugging and smiling all over the planet. Morrowin finally said, "now, we must go and use the book to improve the world and make it a better place." Angela agreed. Angela's family wished them the best of luck in their endeavors, and they went off into the world. Angela and Morrowin did many things over the years, including but not limited to curing diseases around the world, cleaning up the environment, changing people's urges to fight towards desires for love and peace, and they also saved quite a few lives along the way as people fell into hard times. For instance, one boy was playing near a river and fell in. As the boy was being swept away by the fast-flowing current, Angela called to the Magical Journal and said, "Journal will you help this boy in trouble?" The Magical Journal surrounded the boy in a tube out of thin air and lifted him out the water back to shore, where the journal covered him in a warm blanket and served him a cup of vegan hot cocoa. The Magical Journal did not stop there. For instance, when a couple was walking into a courthouse to file bankruptcy on a considerable amount of debt, the couple incurred due to a con-artist convincing them to give them all the money they had for an investment. Then, the con-artist ran off with the money. The Magical Journal jumped into action without Angela even saying a word. The Magical Journal dropped a large pile of gold in the middle of the couple's house, who was in debt, right before they were about to leave for the courthouse, where they would have indeed lost their home and other assets in the court proceedings. The couple opened a foundation for people in debt and shared most of their gold with people in need, and paid off their obligations in the process as well. The con-artist was affected by the Magical Journal too. The Magical Journal cast a spell on the con-artist, and he became a charitable person and donated all the money he took from the couple, who opened the foundation and paid off their debt while helping others in need. The Magical Journal went on for several years performing magical instances before one day the Magical Journal showed a page inscribed with a picture of Angela and her family in a giant mansion, a large pile of gold in the middle of it, and a beautiful hardscape on the exterior of the home. Then, Angela's family's house transformed with a brilliant flash of light into the mansion in the picture. It was a sight never seen before. It was the largest home ever built on Planet Earth. Angela, her family, and Morrowin lived in the house from then on while the Magical Journal kept improving the planet and its environment throughout the Earth. As the Magical Journal cleaned the air and the Magical Journal inscribed magical incantations throughout the Magical Journal's last pages, the Magical Journal cleaned the air, the pollution magically disappeared. Everyone felt an odd sense of peace and happiness spread across the planet as if the Magical Journal laid a blanket of love over the entire planet. World peace had finally arrived on planet Earth, and everyone found their neighbors and their families filled with happiness and joy. Extraterrestrials, watching from the skies, came down to meet the people of the planet and rejoiced with the people on Earth concerning the accomplishments of optimizing the Earth and all the inhabitants on Earth. Everyone seemed to live happily as advancements and innovations thrived while greed and wickedness disappeared from Earth and was never seen or experienced ever again.
