Multiple Lightsaber Wielding Characters Confirmed In 'Kenobi' Series
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a favorite character of many Star Wars fans, due to his expert portrayals by Sir Alec Guinness originally and Ewan McGregor in the Prequel Trilogy, his status as a legacy character, and his unwavering path as a true Jedi Master. Fans have been clamoring for a movie or streaming show focusing on Master Kenobi for years and finally our calls have been answered with Obi-Wan Kenobi coming to Disney+ next year. This highly anticipated show will follow an exiled Kenobi during his days on Tatooine following Order 66, ten years after the fall of the Republic. His exact mission and the overall plot of the show are still closely guarded secrets but, little by little, rumors generated by cast and crew involved with the project have taken over the fan community. The most recent hot rumor comes to us from a member of the cast, Sung Kang, and could indicate that Kenobi might be crossing sabers with multiple foes or racing against the clock to save an imperiled Jedi.

The Untold Story Of Grand Master Yoda
When we first met Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back, he certainly defied expectations. Like Luke, we had been led to believe the Jedi Master was an unmatched and powerful warrior. What we got was quite different. “Wars do not make one great,” he had said. It was clear that despite his demeanor and appearance, this little Jedi was much more wise and knowledgeable than he first led on. His initial act was a ruse that he quickly dropped, but he did not reveal everything in his first encounter. Like Obi-Wan, Yoda had served in the Clone Wars. Even decades later, it was clear his wisdom came as a result of years of hardship. However, it was not until the arrival of the prequel films and the Clone Wars series that fans would learn of Yoda’s many trials.

Theory: Anakin Subconsciously Took Padme's Life Force, Facilitated By Padme's Will To Help Him
The ending of Revenge of the Sith tugged at our heartstrings on a certain level. Some of us sympathized with Anakin Skywalker when he discovered that, after all the sinister things he had done in the name of saving the love of his life from certain death, he was the ultimate cause for her death. Some of us young ones might have laughed at the emotional “No” uttered by the black armor-clad Darth Vader back when the movie first released in 2005. As an adult today, with slightly more experience, we can now understand his pain a little bit better. Today’s discussion is not about the pain he experienced, though. We will be looking at a theory concerning how Padme’s life force helped heal Anakin, thus causing her death.

'The Mandalorian' Season 3: Moff Gideon Actor Teases Return Of This "Big Brained" Character
Despite the absolute all-out success of The Mandalorian, news always seems to be a bit scarce in terms of what we can expect from the show's future. With all the upcoming Star Wars content, I suppose it is somewhat understandable. Thankfully, we have Giancarlo Esposito dropping little pieces of information wherever and whenever he can.

'Star Wars: Visions' Kicks Off With "The Duel"
It has been a little over a month since the last Star Wars show aired on Disney+. While we no doubt still have questions about the next season of The Bad Batch and The Mandalorian, and what The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi might entail, we are treated to the Star Wars anime anthology Star Wars: Visions. Unlike other previous Disney+ shows, which only air one episode each week, all nine episodes of Star Wars: Visions are now available for streaming on Disney+. As each episode is not interconnected in any way, one does not necessarily have to view them in order. Nevertheless, the first episode, “The Duel,” is a good opener, kicking off the series with an epic start.

More Secrets About Maz Kanata's Planet Takodana Have Been Revealed
One of the new locations that was added to the Star Wars mythos in The Force Awakens was Takodana, the planet where Maz Kanata's palace is located. Our heroes end up here in The Force Awakens after Finn and Rey escape from Jakku with BB-8 and run into Han Solo, who is predictably involved in some sort of swindle that inevitably goes wrong, but ends with him regaining the Millennium Falcon and taking Finn and Rey to Takodana to see Maz. Marvel has recently revealed some more details about Takodana in Marvel's Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #8. I'll get to what those details are in this article, but first I want to look at Maz herself and give a little bit of backstory on her and what she has been up to in the Star Wars universe.

'The High Republic' Could Introduce A Deadly Anti-Jedi Weapon
The Jedi have gone up against some terrifying and destructive weapons in the history of the galaxy. The most famous of these may be the Death Star, and the most devastating of these is their own hubris. It seems like no matter the era of Jedi there is always a new evil with an extremely deadly weapon trying to rule the galaxy. We have seen it happen in films, series, books, comics, and games. However, the IDW Star Wars comic series The High Republic Adventures may be gearing up to introduce the deadliest weapon we have seen the Jedi face, and this could potentially have lasting ramifications on the Jedi Order and the galaxy.

Why Darth Revan Should Remain Masked
All hail Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith, or should we say, hero of the Republic? Light Side or Dark Side? Hero or villain? Is Revan a man or a woman, or maybe an unknown entity? Revan is many things to many people. No one really knows what makes Revan, Revan. Revan is one of the Star Wars characters with a massive fan base and probably the most iconic character from the Expanded Universe (aka. Star Wars Legends) other than Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Harry Potter And Star Wars Share An Interesting Musical Connection
The compositions of John Williams and his contributions to the atmosphere and success of Star Wars can not be overstated. The Maestro is in rarified air as a master of his craft, composing some of the most memorable scores in cinema history. His filmography includes not only Star Wars but also Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, the iconically suspenseful Jaws theme, and the first two Harry Potter films. While it may seem unlikely that a film that is set a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away would share musical scores with a film set in the Wizarding World, this is precisely the connection we will be discussing.

Captain Phasma Is More Interesting Than You Knew
It’s hard to oversell how massive the hype surrounding The Force Awakens was when the first trailer dropped. It seemed at last, after waiting so long, Star Wars was back. There were many things to enjoy as more and more information was released, but among the litany of new things on display, one character caught fans' eyes. Standing amongst the ranks of the new and improved stormtroopers was their leader. Because what else could she be? Clad in a resplendent chrome suit of armor, Captain Phasma was a sight to behold, and fans were eager to see her in action. And with Game of Thrones fan favorite Gwendolyn Christie underneath the armor, her character was sure to be a memorable one.

Star Wars Storylines Which Have Yet To Be Resolved
Zillo Beast Dave Filoni's favorite episode of The Clone Wars centers around a huge creature native to the Dug homeworld Malastare. This being is woken by the conflict between the Grand Army of the Republic and the droid armies of the CIS. It is taken back to Coruscant in order to try to duplicate it's blaster and lightsaber resistant armor. Before the Republic can begin it's experimentation however, the Zillo Beast breaks loose, and much like the episode's inspirations King Kong and Godzilla, rampages through Galactic City. It is eventually killed by a nerve toxin deployed by the Republic troopers. However, with the sinister final shot of Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious) giving orders to a Republic scientist to clone the beast, audiences expected to see the results of this mad science experiment come to fruition at some point in the Clone Wars. This was not to be the case as the show proceeded with no more mention of the lethal creature. With The Bad Batch picking up where Clone Wars left off, and the elite commando squad infiltrating multiple Imperial science facilities, there is a possibility this 2 episode arc could come back around in the newest entry into the animated Filoni-verse.
