Pirate Outcast
Pirate Outcast Chapter 1 Sea Gully Flames darted across the campfire in the midnight breeze. Ramsey looked up to the twinkling stars and moon peaking beneath the hazy clouds. He turned his head to the crackling sound of the embers burning took a big whiff, “Ah, nothing like the smell of a toasted logs on a cool night.” Glancing to his left was his dear friend Billy, his dirty blonde hair dangling in front of his eyes suddenly flew with the wind gust. While, Ramsey only had brown locks, he envied the natural highlights his best friend had. Billy's blue eyes caught attention and stared deeply into Ramsey almost golden eyes. Secretly, Billy coveted that unique gold hue, even though his own eyes were unique. Billy was white with freckles on his cheekbones, while Ramsey had a mysterious almost Polynesian skin tone.

Some days when she felt close to losing her purpose she did well to remember. Remember where she came from. Remember what her family were capable of. Remember what her family wanted her to do and how back then, killing herself seemed like a far better option than marriage.
Descendants Of The Sea
In the early hours of the morning, when the mist still lingered in the air and clung to the dewy grass of the clifftop, Eden woke to the sound of birds and the gloriously bright rising of the sun. The sea below crashed rhythmically against the cliff's rocky edge. Eden's hair, tangled with the fallen leaves of autumn, was cold against her skin as she sat up. In front of her, the whole world was waking. And behind her, a little closer to the tree Eden had slept under, something else was waking. Something that had flipped her world upside down.

Chapter 3 – Medieval Times I could not believe my eyes. There was a town at the bottom of the other side of the hill. A medieval town, I should mention. It had a wooden wall around it and a single gateway in the front. Probably, here would be a get-away tunnel or other type of exit in the back. I suspected they closed the gates at night. I know I would. In medieval times, you never knew who or what could be lurking in the dark of night. I was not even considering the possibility of there being dragons around. I certainly wasn't going to say anything about dragons to Shirley.

"If the frailties of old age have been eliminated, what is left?" I am 100 years old today. I thought about how the deep hues of blue and white crashed together in the ocean. These currents were centuries old but never lost their strength. Thousands of the water's bubbles swirled around me, as my hair danced lightly under the surface. Looking up, rays of light glistened through it's layers. Around this time, the water was warm.

Marcus scanned the room for his friends at their usual table. The cafeteria is one of those that have long tables lined up in rows. There are five rows of two tables each. At each table there are twenty round stools attached to it so you can not move them. Marcus, Jonathan, and Jeff always ate lunch together. After the day he was having, Marcus just wanted to relax with his buddies. Marcus walked over to the table and smiled genuinely to see that Jeff and Jonathan were waiting for him. As he sat down he thought to himself, ‘Life will be so much different if I can not stop the accident.’

Brae made her way to the pod as Oscar scooted back to his console. After a few silent taps, all the screens became a puzzle constructed of the pod's interior. Brae stepped inside after the doors decompressed. Perfectly in frame on the monitors she looked large and small all at once.

With every step Kailin took, she could feel the crush of snow beneath her boots. A fog of air puffed out of her mouth with each breath she took. Even the fur cloak she wore did little to keep the chill from trying to creep into her bones. But the sun still filtered through the gaps in the tree branches, laden heavy with the last snowfall.

The story begins, as all tales often do, in a peaceful meadow so calm and serene. There, amongst the flowerbeds, fluttered a swarm of butterflies.

I watched the white sail in the distance. Sails weren't uncommon, tacking across the far horizon. They never came close, the island had a deadly reputation.

Chapter 2 – Twice turned around After I turned the car around, we drove carefully back the way we had come, keeping our eyes peeled for any sign of dust devils. The road was full of rocks, holes, the occasional branch and uneven. It went up and down, jogged to the side, and back again. I really had to go slow and watch every foot of the road ahead.
