extraterrestrial
Speculation, theory, UFOs and Aliens. Are we alone in this universe or is there life outside Earth?
ET Wake Up
Of course I had to write something about this paper. It has three of my favorite things in the title (hypothesis, an obscure word used in a new way, and an H.P. Lovecraft reference that was also used in a Metallica song), and it is about one of my favorite topics, aliens. As an fyi, I copy-pasted liberally from Wikipedia for some of the background stuff. I did make some half-hearted attempt to substitute out a few words and rearrange some things. I’m lazy alright, so sue me*.

EXTRATERRESTRIALS
As a little boy, whenever I got upset I would stare at the stars in the sky in hopes of being transported to another world, far away from my hurt and problems. Silly as that may have seemed at the time, humans for generations have often wondered what-if anything exists beyond our blue-green planet and solar system. In 1950, the renowned Italian physicist Enrico Fermi posed a now infamous question, “Somewhere out there in that vast universe, there must surely be countless other planets teeming with life, but why don’t we see any evidence of it?”

Control Everything
In humans, the autonomic nervous system is a control system that acts largely unconsciously (Just how largely is a subject of some debate, but almost entirely is fair to say. Traditionally, for something to be included as part of the autonomic nervous system it had to be out of the control of the conscious mind. That was "baked into" the definition. So, one could argue that as soon as we find that any particular function can actually be controlled consciously, it should no longer be classified as being a part of that system. Perhaps a new nervous system classification is needed to account for functions which are mostly unconscious but may be able to be controlled to some degree consciously in some people with extraordinary effort, and perhaps some natural genetic tendencies in that direction.) and regulates various bodily functions such as the heart rate, digestion, respiratory rate, pupillary response, urination, and sexual arousal. Our immune system, though not officially a part of the autonomic nervous system, is also intimately associated with it, and mistaken or inappropriate interactions between the two systems are thought to play a role in the development of many chronic diseases involving both. Although this has also been challenged by some, the immune system is also generally agreed to be entirely out of our conscious control. If we do have some conscious control over the immune system it is most likely only at the edges, and at a holistic rather than fine detailed level. Both systems are scarily complex and textbooks and research papers abound in both fields. There are undergraduate college courses and graduate programs dedicated to each, and many a Ph.D. and MD have made entire careers out of studying them. For purposes of this discussion all you need to know is that it is widely believed/understood that human life would be impossible without either or both of them.

UFOs Deactivated Our Nukes, So Why Weren't We Told Sooner?
Stephen Bassett is the founder of Paradigm Research Group or (PRG). PRG has been spending years trying to get the U.S. Government to reveal the truth about extraterrestrials and unidentified flying objects. If aliens are here, then the question becomes why? The answer is potentially terrifying.

Aliens Seeding Earth
Am I crazy? First, let me explain why the idea is NOT out of the questions or crazy. It violates no known laws of science first of all. Further, it’s not something that most people think about; aliens that is. Most of our knowledge of extraterrestrials (ETs) comes from movies, comic books, video games, and other media designed to entertain. As a result, the person broaching the subject in a serious manner is often unfairly ridiculed. I implore you to keep an open mind and look at the facts as your read this article. Also keep in mind that I am not against religion. I am certainly open to the possibility that a kind of super consciousness (God if you will), created life within the universe through conscious will. However, there is currently no way to support this with science yet (assuming that it could be done some day) and so I do not address that issue here. I also do not address government cover-ups or conspiracies here. I’m not outright rejecting their existence, its just not necessary to discuss them for the purposes of providing support for my main argument.

Red Dawn
Pluck the stem and uproot the growth. Burgeoned fruit, selfless life. Kiss the stem and cast it to the wind. Progeny blooms in years to come. Hopeful blossoms, flowered with care. Now raze the ground and scorch the earth. Fulminate your homeland. Pollute the air with wagging tongues and borrowed time. From earth comes nothing. But to it comes flesh. Burning world, blackened country. Water dry and sour to taste. Children awaken to revelations. We reap what we sow but what to reap when the Earth is shorn. Breathe deep now and exhale tomorrow. Continue until your lungs collapse. Savor the sweetness and cough up your sweat. Cough up your blood. Cough up your tears until nothing remains. Death will come and bury you in ashes. No flowers will adorn your grave.

Have we actually witnesssed UFO?
Between 1947 and 1969, the Air Force examined thousands of unspecified aerial photographs and concluded that most of the UFO sightings were stars, stars, or light visions, rather than conventional planes or spacecraft. The recognition, discussed in a recent CBS News report, sparked renewed interest last month. The long-awaited UFO report follows a series of high-profile articles published by Navy pilots in recent years about videos showing mysterious objects that appear to be moving at speeds and movements, unlike any other known airplane.

There is an Intellectual Life on another Planet
The list begins with an estimate of the number of stars in the galaxy and the number of planets in the galaxy, taking up half of the planets that can sustain life step by step, and then the persistence of technological societies demonstrating.

The Eternal Blue
The pond was frozen as Egard's blinkered eyes stared out. He lay under the thick ice, not blinking as clouds passed on overhead. He would smile, but thoughts were impossible in this coldness, the ice unfeeling against his skin as he lay there inanimate as a statue.

Dysnomia. Top Story - August 2021.
I normally wouldn’t wake up in the middle of the night, especially since I could sleep through most of my alarms. However, I knew something was wrong when I felt the heat of the light toasting my eyelids. When I came to, the first thing I remembered feeling was my stomach turning. I felt like I was sleeping on the ceiling while my body was planted on solid ground. The second thing I remembered was seeing the green light flooding my room. I could tell the source came from outside and was moving. And yet it was as if the light itself was leaking into the room, contorting itself into a myriad of shapes, glowing in corners where not even sunlight goes. It beckoned me to follow it, to spring out of my bed. I knew then my time in this capsule on this moon had come to an end.
