Maria's tears and screams had no effect on the Animal Control officers. Any adult onlooker would have realized the futility of her pleas, since the AI “brains” of her tormentors had no concept of empathy. Their singular goal was eliminating the problem in the most efficient way possible, before moving on to the next call stored in the Municipal Dispatching Database.

Assassin - Under Contract
Of course my name is Raven. What else could it be? When you're born with a shock-full of coal black hair and never lost it and it falls past your cute little ass, and it never went through lighter phases in childhood, and even if you have a normal name, it's always Raven. When you have a pointed chin, what they think is cute to call "elfin ears" (bleh!), and even though my eyes were bright blue even after the cyborg modification, it was always Raven. It was the first name I spelled out on the lined paper in school, it was the name I used when I doodled "Raven loves Johnnie" on the cover of my science book, and when I grew older, it was the name I carved into the buttocks of my first victim. He got to live, though the second one didn't. It was a bit easier to carve with a knife by that point, to make the "adjustments" to a person's body required when I took the contract. But the money's more than just good, I get to play with fun toys, and I get to choose my contracts. I'm a freelancer, unlike those poor schlobs in the police force.

AI is just like a baby now
I am a tech enthusiast and I love AI innovations and How they affect every field in our world. Recently I visited my Aunt. she had a beautiful daughter. She is 3 years old(I think). She is learning to speak. whatever we speak even though we had no intention for her to learn, she will eavesdrop on it and try to pronounce it whenever she thinks it is used. That's the main point you need to understand. She is not pronouncing whatever she hears at any time, She is trying to pronounce it when she thinks about the situation for it. She is really trying to learn to speak. When for the first time they try to walk they fall many different times, but after some time learn it through good parenting perfectly. and when they get grown up tasks like speaking, walking and other things which were difficult for them at first will be an automated habit in their life.
