It looks different almost pretty sitting inside a contained display case. Adding a little florescent dye the geometric shape takes on a different form as it once had spikes resembling the covid viris. This is how it looks now, as im playing 6 years later on a different computer & platform. Yet in the game it is still very deadly inside the machine that can infect you if your not carefull. The aliens who designed it left warning messages allthough the background phliophsy contained within the building gives no reasoning for their existance. They were from the future & were wiped out by the bacterium cancer leaving clues on how to make a cure called enzyme 42. It reminds me of how difficult todays medicines leave a cure up to the people since deseases such as cancer havnt a cure. In Subnautica a Queen Leviathan has the cure if you help her hatch her offspring by gathering undersea plants to make a hatching recipe. Finding the Queen is a monstrous chore since she lives aprox 1200 fanthoms deep in her chamber. It’s a little like making a deal with a zenomorph since she resembles one. Upon watching others play I decided not to worry about the cure since I play in creative mode, not survival. Could their be a resemblence to real life where cures can have undesireable ingreediants such as ghost weeds & fungus? Of course the story is science fiction but do cures today have to be also science fiction? I decided to take a breather & play Subnautica 2. This game has a different creepy environment with survivors of a race called Ardhiacs who live in a sea biome called Xanadu. The biomes center around the world tree that is currently unobtainable with a red shield currently in a beta version developing stage. Fragments of black boxes are left in several locations that are transmitted through a Noa terminal. The Axum aliens left behind a observatory as they were beings who communicated with the stars & communicated through sonar & polorized light. Leaving clues on the observatory of symbols in light connecting to their language of ruines. The Rosetta Stone seems like a structured library rising in the sea resembling a matrix of green symbols. Its not just the ancient axium race that preturbs me. It’s the dissapearance of the crew of scientists who left only voice recordings of their discovery of a bloom virius made by parasites that attacked the crew & infected the angel comb plants. Interestingly the angel combs resemble to me a glowing Virgin Guadalupe with a halo of arms with a red flower for a face. The problem of the story is to cure the environment one has to use a device invented only for the game called a sonic resonator that destroys healthy young angel combs. This I can not do. I would like to find cheet codes to bypass this task. Another device that is purely sci fi is the habitat maker. By holding a hand held device a entire habitat is created where realistc glass doors are secured enabling a swimable entrance! Inside a bed can be put along with a fabricator that makes muliple items from cooked fish to radiation suits. My favorite is the moon pool👽👽 Surfacing in the second game there is a Saturn ringed planet compared to the first version with a deep Mars red planet. These games have scary creatures such as Leviathans who add to the suspense as there is a background soundtrack that adds mystery. For people who are wondering about Subnautica below zero, yes I play that too. When your in the mood for snow snow snow, theres no beautiful planets, just raw icy arctic sky & baron snowscapes. I havnt figured out how to find the mammoth in the ice cave yet as I catch a real cold from playing. The game is too isolating with Subnautica 2 having the ability to invite other players into your environment. This to me should be how medics & health care workers could interact properly with their patients. By finding the clues & pieces of curing a infected world as a team. The tragedy left behind is haunting with cries of a woman within the ocean depths about a race of people left to battle on their own. I seriously felt while exploring the axum race had no choice but to somehow manifest their soles into the plants themselves. This is why I think the plants seem to be crying out. Its very eerie. This is the theme of Subnautica, a underwater spooky enfoldment. Im feeling a bit of a paradox as I too feel trapped within a red wall of the unknown designed around a relic of a World tree. With nothing but sea creatures & electric jellyfish im wondering why no mermaids were created as the sea life is a little too make believe having a missing link to Greek Mythology. It would be nice to have the missing aliens found reincarnated maybe behind the wall. Relics of treasures could be found instead of crates containing only food rations & empty water bottles. This would add more enjoyment rather than much emptiness. One last comment is about the added hanging evac suit found in a craft wreckage. There wasn’t anything in the hanger except stargate sounding alarms with no clue of who occupied the destroyed underwater base. Making it seem like a western or pirate theme integration that dosnt fit the overall criteria. Co pilot stated that it wasn’t a body but a dummy, others say it’s a clone. More will be revieled when & if the wall comes down.
