Saudi Vision 2030 is a long-term plan for the economic and social development of Saudi Arabia. It was announced in April 2016 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The plan aims to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and promote private sector growth. It also includes goals to improve education, healthcare, and infrastructure, as well as to increase the participation of women in the workforce. The plan is being implemented through a series of initiatives and programs, such as the National Transformation Program and the Saudi Arabia Green Initiative.

Projects under Saudi Vision 2030

There are several major projects and initiatives being implemented under Saudi Vision 2030, some of the notable ones are:

NEOM: A mega city being built on the Red Sea coast, which aims to be a hub for advanced industries, tourism, and innovation.

The Red Sea Project: A luxury tourism development on an archipelago of more than 90 islands, which aims to attract foreign investment and tourists to the region.

The Saudi Arabia Green Initiative: A plan to increase the use of renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions in the country.

The Human Capital Development Program: A program that aims to improve the skills and qualifications of the Saudi workforce, with a focus on creating jobs for Saudi citizens.

The Red Sea Project, also known as The Island Project, is a luxury tourism development on an archipelago of more than 90 islands located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia.
