Fans were extremely sad when they all learned that we weren’t going to have a third season of The Mandalorian right away. When the last episode for season 2 finished, we were all surprised by the amazing post-credit scene. This scene featured Boba Fett and Fennec Shand arriving at Jabba’s palace, showing Boba killing Bib Fortuna, and taking over the whole palace. When the scene was finished, we got a big tittle reveal of The Book of Boba Fett and text saying that it will be coming in December of this year.

The series will take place during the timeline of The Mandalorian, and will feature Temuera Morrison, as Boba Fett. The show will follow Boba and Fennec in new adventures, and will probably feature some returning characters from The Mandalorian. As the release of this show gets closer and closer, we keep finding out some really cool things about it. One of those cool things is that some of the original directors for The Mandalorian have come back to direct this show.

Directors like Bryce Dallas Howard, Robert Rodriguez, and show creators Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, have been stepping into this amazing new live-action Star Wars shoot. Learning that these awesome directors are back and directing The Book of Boba Fett gives fans hope that they can expect some of the greatness that they were used to seeing in the previous show. We also just learned that MCU Stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave may have joined the amazing roster of directors within The Book of Boba Fett, and has already directed an episode.

Sam Hargrave was the stunt coordinator for Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. He also just recently directed his very own film with Netflix, called Extraction, starring Thor himself Chris Hemsworth. Knowing this man’s background, one can expect that an episode directed by him for The Book of Boba Fett could be full of action sequences and involve amazing combat. Hargrave created some of the most epic fight sequences in the MCU, so fans are excited to see how his amazing talent will be brought into a galaxy far, far away.

The Mandalorian was full of amazing action and fight sequences, so it is super exciting to learn of the possibility that a man like Sam Hargrave has directed an episode for this new upcoming Star Wars series. If true, we cannot wait to see what his creativity, his talent, and his imagination bring to The Book of Boba Fett. Temuera Morrison has never had a problem with being physical onscreen, and has proven it many times throughout his career. The actor himself proved this statement in season 2 of The Mandalorian, when he fought off a whole battalion of Stormtroopers, and he did all his stunts, and even helped the stunt coordinator to create some of the moves, in order to honor his New Zealand heritage, and even helped with the design of Fett’s baton. This is an actor who has proven himself to be amazing, since the era of the prequels.

The Book of Boba Fett will bring to us a whole new side of the Star Wars galaxy, and it will also deliver to us many new ways to see the crime side of Star Wars, probably even exposing secrets from Boba Fett’s past that we have yet to find out. It would also be exciting to see some of the characters from The Mandalorian to return and help Boba in one of his missions now that he has become the new lord of Jabba’s palace, and possibly the lord of all Jabba’s operations.
