How to Manifest with the Eight Phases of the Moon
So why should you manifest with the moon? The eight phases of the moon are similar to an outline for manifestation. The combined energy from each moon phase aligned with your intentions can help accelerate your manifestations. Theses rituals can help make learning how to manifest much easier and help you feel more balanced and in sync with the world around you.
For each ritual, give yourself 20-30 minutes or as long as needed. These rituals should always take place in a sacred space that you are comfortable in. This can be indoors, outdoors, or even in a bathtub while taking a bath. It is important that you are focused and free from distractions. When creating your sacred space, start by throughly cleansing the area to rid it of all negative energy. You can do so by burning sage, incense, or whatever you prefer. Next, bring objects into your sacred space that are symbolic to you and the things you are trying to manifest. Include anything that may help you with visualization such as a mood board, personal items, or things that that resonate with you. You can also incorporate objects to invoke the elements such as burning candles, burning incense, opening a window, moon water, ocean water, using a diffuser, rocks, crystals, plants, or even just being in nature. You can adjust things to your liking. Do what you feel works best for you!
New Moon - Show the Universe What You Want
The new moon signifies a new cycle and new beginnings. This is the perfect time for setting new goals and intentions. For this ritual, start by writing down your intentions and the things you would like to manifest into your reality. This list can be as long or as short as you’d like, just be very clear about what exactly you’re trying to attract. The more detail, the easier it will be to know what you’re asking the universe for.
Waxing Crescent Moon - Create Affirmations
The energy is beginning to increase during this phase and it‘s time to increase with it. Look back at your list and create affirmations. You can journal or speak these affirmations out loud. These affirmations should be used in the present tense. For example, instead of “I want _____”, use “I have_____” or “I am_____”. Write and speak about your desires as if you have already received them. When manifesting, it is important to keep in mind that you attract what you put out. If you are experiencing doubt or limiting beliefs, take them and replace them with positive affirmations. Instead of thinking, “I don’t think I will get the job,” chnage that thought to, “I have the job.”
First Quarter Moon - Take Action
This next ritual is all about devising a plan of action. Unfortunately, manifesting isn’t as simple as wishful thinking. You have to put in the work to see results. Ask yourself, “How can I get closer to achieving my goals and receiving my desires? What are the steps I need to take in order to make them apart of my reality?” Create a plan with steps you that will help put you on the right path. Try completing three or more of these actions daily.
Waxing Gibbous Moon - Visualize
While continuing to take action, refer back your list and begin visualizing yourself having everything you desire. Your visualizations should be very vivid and detailed. Meditate and journal while you visualize. Write about your desires as if they are already yours. Use all of your sense to connect with your visualizations and invoke emotion. What does it feel like? What does it look like? Don’t focus on how you’re going to receive it. Doing so can potentially block you from manifesting it. Maintain your focus on what it’s like having it. Gradually, you should start receiving.
Full Moon - Be Grateful
The energy is at its peak during the full moon. Now is the time to acknowledge everything you have and are grateful for. Release any lingering worry, doubt, or limiting beliefs. Raise your vibrations during this time by doing things such as dancing, making art, using crystals, meditating, or anything that brings you joy. Alinging your energy with what you are trying to manifest is just as important as your visualizations and affirmations.
Waning Gibbous Moon - Reflection
This phase is about reflecting on what you have yet to receive. Think about what could be potentially stopping you from fully manifesting the things you’re after. Is it fear? Doubt? Take this time to search deep down for the root of what’s blocking you. Try using divination such as tarot cards for more insight. It is important to remember not to dwell on what you haven’t received. Sometimes, it could be just as simple as it not being the right time. This doesn’t mean you won’t ever receive it. Continue manifesting it and be grateful for what you do have. Trust the universe and its timing.
Last Quarter Moon - Release
Once you have determined what is blocking you, release it. Take all of your negative thinking and turn it into positive affirmations like before. Change your behavior and thought process around these limiting beliefs. You can release what’s blocking you by meditating, journaling, visualization, and even spell work.
Waning Crescent Moon - Create New Energy
This is the final phase before the next new moon. Continue to place your trust the universe and allow yourself to finish releasing any remaining doubt, negativity, anxiety, etc. Create a new, positive energy and focus on making room for a new list of manifestations.
