Let's Have a Chat
The AI Assistant is for life.

Just typing into a screen and squeezing the picture up there in the digital ether is quite the splendor. The power of transforming words into images is only the tiniest of details that artificial intelligence (AI) has to offer. As this missive is typed, the development is altering ways to detect cancers, direct plans for skyscrapers, repair the structures to crumbling school systems, organize strategies for investment schemes, study weather patterns to get an understanding of the beauty of the human environment, irrigate farm land, and scores of other applications.
I used it to make a picture of a former Popeye’s employee who apparently flatulated on chicken cutlets. Yes, while the world is progressing ever forward in endeavors that may one day heal those afflicted with oncological disease or help businesspeople immerse themselves in the market, I used AI for a fart joke. It says a lot about me, no? But it says more about AI and ChatGPT in particular. Most people scoff at the idea, even the name, which I think kind of sounds like a social network and a high speed car tied together.
It’s plain to see, there are so many applications for this service! I can only imagine people from the 1920’s reading Jules Verne and dreaming of mystical, mythical landscapes and tools that bubbled up in their dreams and nightmares. I bet they couldn’t even fathom the type of tech we wield nowadays.
This is revolutionary stuff, right? AI is the bleeding edge of tech and should be seen as a massive achievement. Data centers, which power many AI companies, ought to be seen as worship places, designations for those to bow in reverence.
I use ChatCPT like it's water. I can freeze it, make it a gas, or just let it flow from my mind. Every day. It creates in me a sense that I can shape the world in my own image and deal with the facts of reality. It permits me the power to use my own thoughts and ask questions, gain answers, and interpret the world all in a digital, electronic package.
For all the fear-mongers and Luddites who say that AI is going to crush the human soul, they must realize that the spirit of humanity is only enhanced by the powers of AI. The transformative experience of seeing a computer generate the image of the Freedom Tower shining in all its glory at night just with a few strokes of the keypad is exciting. Of the infinite combinations ChatGPT can come up with, it should embolden everyone to want to see this technology grow and evolve over time.

Because that’s the trick….again, it’s happening right now. At this moment you read this sentence, who knows what therapies and remedies for maladies could have been dreamt up? What great minds can concoct the intricate plots to television shows and films? What mathematics and advanced sciences can be gleaned by the simple phrasing in the search box?
This is what we should all strive for in our lives. AI is going to be the ultimate in providing safety and fun. Now, of course, we must not be Polly Anna with our rose colored glasses. There will be bad actors who will try to squash the growing spirit of industry and artistry and life. They should be swept to the side in favor of the individuals who seek to only produce beauty and sometimes even bits of humor or something totally moving. The power to engage with this powerful tool invigorates my day to no end.
When I wake, I go to my stories and figure out in my head a vision of what I want the words to spring into images. If I don’t like it, I can just adjust the words and the image changes. Wow! How did it do that? The might of algorithms and computing can only allow such beauty to register in real life.
I thoroughly enjoy contemplating the glowing minds that figured all of this out in the first place. It is because of the OpenAI engineering team that formulated this wondrous workspace, toy, volume of knowledge, whatever, they ought to be lauded and applauded.
In the world of the artist, it would seem as if the ideas should never cease. In my writings, I consider the dancing silhouettes in my mind and marvel at the way that the images squirt onto the screen by just listing a few phrases. Each day provides a chance for me to better understand what it means to create, build, make. That’s what’s so engrossing. This manner of what could only have been dreamt in the deepest fantasies of our forefathers should be viewed as a nudge in the right direction. No, this is a massive push in the way of knowing virtually everything close to everyone in a matter of moments.
It’s not a detriment but a tremendous benefit the ChatGPT exists. Where Google and the folks at Alphabet had carried the baton, they passed it on to this devastatingly simple and gorgeous tech.
When I think about the bountiful ways in which I can trade with other people and earn a buck from something that sprang from my head because of the value of ChatGPT, that makes wings from my brain. Kind of like the image below. Do you see how cool that is?

This is the explosion of ideas and the immersive experience of the user and the application. And all the haters can remember the carriages that horses used to draw. People can remember the Radio Shacks, Blockbusters and F.Y.E. stores that popped up across the land and have all mostly turned to ghosts. Everything new comes into the world as problematic, even dangerous. When disasters like Chernobyl occur, people point to one example among myriads of safe nuclear reactors. So goes with data centers. “No,” they say, “NIMBY” (not in my back yard). While they cower at the opportunity for something truly great to manifest, they like to say, “this time, it’s different.” Yes, like how the automobile transformed travel and the rocket ships propelled man into the heights of greatness.
I wonder to myself as I make images for my stories and videos. What if humans just said, “Nah, that car's too dangerous. Or spaceflight is too risky.”
We would have stagnated even while people screech about the horrors of both modes of transport. Yes, men and women have perished in auto wrecks and space disasters. But for the former, cars are becoming safer with autonomous vehicles and space flight is still the safest way to travel for all mankind.
I sit in my chair and wonder about the cool factor as opposed to the ugliness that corrupts the mind and blights the soul. ChatGPT is the savior of many a late night student who just needs to know a bit more about Frederick Douglass or Susan B. Anthony. And above all, the brilliance of Ayn Rand. ChatGPT provides a way to engage with her profound and direct ideas. If I could praise Google, and Wikipedia, I have to praise this AI assistant for presenting this most interesting and profoundly thorough human being. I could only imagine the way that people will come up with thoughts and ideas about her based on a chat.
