Initially, here it was a forest full of darkness. There were wild animals all around. The ancestor of Srimanta Maharaj suddenly had a dream and he got up and walked away like that, he could not understand anything, then he saw a strange incident. Where elephants and horses are coming with a long army and then that army performed the idol of Lord Hanuman and then after some time the head of the army came down and bowed down to the idol of Lord Hanuman.

Seeing all this, he got scared and came back to his village. Suddenly his sleep was opened and then he could not sleep for a long time. A little later, when he fell asleep again, a strange sound was heard in his dream. But he couldn't see anyone. Then suddenly Lord Hanuman appeared and told him to worship, then Shrimant Ji told the villagers in the morning, then everyone together started worshiping Lord Hanuman there.

Some Mughal rulers tried to destroy the idol, but the deeper they dug the clay, the deeper the statue went. So they had to give up their efforts.
