As we enter this story of misfortune and treachery. Of duplicity politicians and the ones who wish to do well. We come upon Torrdeck’s capital Geldom. It was once picturesque and abundant, with a thriving economy.

However, after many tyrants holding the rule it has become nothing more than a spectral husk. It holds its people prisoner of their own false freedom. Countless have been stifled to make an example of what is to happen when you stand up for what you believe in.

The current President is Ferdinand Traxxus. He has always been what he is now, a callous, mendacious dictator. He will soon fall in the hands of his own design. He was forewarned, but you know how they always end.

We enter the now ruined streets with its pretty neon lights. Showing off extravagance, opulence only the Reiche Leute can afford. While in other sectors people deteriorate for their own negligence.

Then you have the “police'' of the country. They are called PeaceKeepers. They are followed by humanoid AIs called Maldrones. They won't harm anything, even when provoked. That's why the Peace Keepers have their special military issued augmentations. They enforce their pathetic excuse of justice on the homeless and weak.

Government officials are obligated to get these types of augmentations. Though, there are many other different types of augmentations people can get. You do not have to work with the government. Your company may require it, or you can get one for personal use.

Follow your eyes upward towards the center of the city. Everything gravitates its way to the Norsefire Building. The hideous shadow overbears the city with its menacing stare. This is where our despised President is now. He has no inkling of what is waiting for his impending doom for the crime upon the people and Sidnir.

The man behind the glowing semi-circle desk was diligently writing a new speech. In only a few days he will be able to reveal his new brilliant weapon. His impeccable AI will be completed soon.

He wanted everything to be perfectly terrible. His neighboring enemies needed to be reminded not to cross paths with him. A tactless man in a blue suit rushed into the President’s office and collapsed his hands upon his knees to get his breath back.

“What do you need, Kortz?” The lean man behind the desk demanded, keeping his head down as he continued writing.

“S-sir! One of the Kriger children has been noticed. He was last seen leaving Morvak. I have already placed Programmers on him. We don’t know what he might do. Do you have any orders?” He gasped out, straightening up.

The man known as Robert Kortz was the lead developer in charge of AI Affairs. Ferdinand sighed and placed his pen down. The intimidating glare Ferdinand forced Robert to quiver.

“You’re wasting my time, Kortz. You know what I want to do. However, I will tell you again. Let the Programmers follow the boy. Don’t scare him; he’s probably searching for the girl.” He told the developer in a hostile tone.

The man’s dark grey skin paled. “Y-yes sir. I will relay your orders to the Programmers. Sorry to have bothered you.” Robert bowed and left the office.

Sighing heavily, Ferdinand looked up at a security camera.

“You got that?” He asked it as if it were alive.

In a way you could say the Superintendent was alive. Tiny particles of data and light appeared out of the air and transformed themselves into a tiny blue woman with darker blue markings on her body. “It’s been four years and now they’re just being found? I think your losing your touch, Ferdi.” The woman said to him with a sly smile.

Wrinkling his brow, he just waved his hand through her.

“Why does everyone insist on wasting my time this evening? Just go and follow Kortz to make sure he doesn’t miss this up again.” He told the AI angrily.

She vanished without responding. The President stood up and placed his hands behind his back. Walking over to the tall windows that encircled his office, he watched as the rain pelted down.

"This would be so much easier if you hadn't disappeared, Thaliea." He shut his eyes tightly.

He refused to let any more tears be spilled by that burdensome name.
