is said that Jarasandha climbed Mathura 18 times to kill Krishna. 17 times he failed. In the final ascent, he also inspired an alien powerful ruler Kalayavan to invade Mathura. Kalayavan's army surrounded Mathura. He sent a message to the King of Mathura and gave a day for the war. Sri Krishna sent reply that the war should only be in Krishna and Kalayavan, why fight the army in vain? Kalayavan accepted. Under this policy, Sri Krishna left Ran's land and fled, so Kalayavan also ran after him. While running, Krishna went into a cave. Kalayavan also entered there itself. Kalayavan saw another man sleeping in the cave. Kalayavan considered him Krishna and kicked him tightly and the man got up. As soon as he opened his eyes and started looking around, then he saw Kalayavan in front. Kalayavan was instantly burned by his sight. The men who found Kalayavan asleep in the cave were Raja Muchukund, son of Ikshvaku Vanshi Maharaja Mandhata, an ascetic and majestic.

3.Jarasandha's friend was Shishupala. Shishupala wanted to marry Rukmini. Rukmini's brother Rukmi also wanted the same. Rukmi and Shishupala were friends. Shishupala and Rukmi knew that Rukmi wanted to marry Sri Krishna. But Rukmi had prepared for Shishupala and Rukmani for Swayamvara. Jarasandh came so far from Bihar that Gujarat only came to make sure that there was nothing wrong with the swayamvara. But there under his nose, Shri Krishna drove Rukmini away. When Jarasandha came to know of this, he ran to take Rukmini. When he tried to capture Krishna in Gomantak, Krishna defeated him and embarrassed him by giving him life. For a warrior like Jarasandha, there was nothing worse that a shepherd would give him life. It was better that he die.

4. Many warriors joined the Draupadi Swayamvara. There was also Jarasandha in it. Jarasandha thought of getting his grandson married to Draupadi. Jarasandha wanted that if he won the competition, he would get his grandson married and if lost, I would kidnap Draupadi and get her married. Thinking this, he reached Swayamvar with his army. Sri Krishna understood this situation.

The camp at Jarasandha was very vigilant. But at midnight Sri Krishna covered his head and reached his camp. When the guards stopped, they said that if they are not allowed to meet then it will be disastrous. All will be killed and you will be guilty of this. On hearing this, the guard called the guard. The responsibility of the guard was with a grandson of Jarasandha. When he came, he came and asked, "Who are you?" Then Krishna removed the cloth from his face and said, 'I am Vasudev Krishna.' The grandson of Jarasandha was shocked. Krishna was his staunch enemy, who was standing in front of him unarmed. Then he asked, 'What do you want?' Krishna said, 'I want to talk to Jarasandha. If you don't wake him up now, just give a message that I have come here to save his life. If I don't meet him now, I won't be able to do anything again. If you still don't want to wake him up, I go back. Everything is up to you. '

Hearing this, he went to Jarasandha and woke him up. He was informed, "Krishna has come to see you." Jarasandha could not believe his ears, 'What? He has come to meet me in my camp at midnight? how dare he?' It immediately came to his mind, 'shall we kill him now?' Then his grandson told him what Krishna said to him.

When Krishna came in, Jarasandha said, what have you come to talk about? Krishna explained, 'You have come to Draupadi's swayamvara. Everyone knows that marriage to Draupadi means relationship with Drupada. Relationship to Drupada means connection to a large army. This is why so many kings have gathered here. Above all, Drupada is very respected as a good human being, which can increase your reputation and strength. Therefore, the purpose of coming here is very clear to me. Your grandson certainly cannot pass the test of archery, but you can. ' Jarasandha said, 'Absolutely. I will win.'

Krishna said, 'Imagine. If a 75-year-old boy with so many sons and grandchildren joins you for an 18-year-old girl, you will be ridiculed. Even if you win this match, but if any young man wins this match, then you have to fight it. You can be killed in this because the person who will be able to win this match may also be able to kill you. If Duryodhana wins this match, he can easily kill you. The two of you are in competition with each other, but it is young and you are old and if you lose the match by chance, your empire will be ruined. No king would like to join you further. I am sure you would be so intelligent as not to take such a step. '

Krishna kept on saying, 'So surely you have not come here to participate in the contest. You have come here to kidnap that girl. You can do this only in two places. One place is when she will come to the temple with other princesses. Elsewhere — when she enters the marriage hall. ' He told, 'My most ardent people are posted in both these places. If your chariot deviates even slightly from the prescribed path, then immediately your head will be separated from the torso. In any way, if you try to execute any of your plans, then your death is certain. The best for you is that you can give any good gift to DrupadaWho is jarasand
