I wish I could see the far future

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the far future? Thousands and even millions of years from now things will be so different we cannot even imagine. By then we would have settles, the Moon, Venus, Titan, Mars and many other places. If you are from the future, please read this and here are some things I believe will change in the future and those that are from the future can verify. Many people today may say they would never get implants or any anything, but times change, and resistors become fewer.

Teachers will be replaced with AI as with most jobs. Also, I believe knowledge will simply be downloaded into a person’s brain. There will be no need for teachers and educators. Anything you want to learn will be at your fingertips and you will not have to spend hours, days or weeks learning.

Better and more educated people. In the future people will be smarter than we are today. Those of us alive right now in 2020 have higher IQ’s than those that were alive in 1920 so imagine thousands of years from now. People will treat each other better since by then they will be more cyborg than we are now. Look at the present, we already have people with missing limbs using mechanical arms. So, how much more do you think that will improve in the future.

Better food. In the future we will not have to slaughter animals for their meat since we can grow it in the lab. Who knows, maybe we can do this for plants too. They will be able to choose the taste and texture of their food.

Better air quality. I personally believe the generations in the future will reverse climate change as they learn to terraform other planets and moons. They will also, finds ways to remove all the trash we have placed on this Earth.

No poverty. I believe poverty will decline as we get better methods of producing food and with the help of AI and implants. Since people will behave better, I highly doubt any of them will allow another human being to suffer from the cold, hunger or anything else. People will work together.

No crime. Crime will diminish with AI and implants. There will be less need to commit crimes and those that do will be quickly caught.

Many will still watch our videos and look at our pictures. With the help of AI and implants they will be able to translate what they read and hear. They may want to know how we lived at these times as we like to learn how past generations lived. I enjoy looking at old pictures and movies from the late 1800’s and throughout the 1900’s.

Travelling through space for fun. Today it seems as impossible as travelling to the moon did to the ancient Greeks but tens of thousands and even millions of years from now people may find ways to travel the galaxy or even the universe.

They will find extraterrestrial life. I do not mean intelligent life, although that is a possibility, but single-celled and simple life will be found. At some point future generations will discover life.

Time-travel. Nothing in Physics says Time-travel is not possible, so I believe in the very far future people will travel through time. Perhaps even creating a mirror were they can see the past happen before their eyes instead of actually transversing time. If they visit the past, they would be careful not to contaminate history.

No death as we have it. By the time the far future arrives I am sure humans will have figured out how to stop aging and to place our consciousness into an AI or a clone. Who knows how they will defy death?

There is a lot a person can write here and if anyone from the future stumbles upon this please come for me. You can download my memories and consciousness just before I die and place them in a clone, cyborg or whatever. Gender and appearance is not important. Any time this is possible in the future is great. I would love to see the future.
