Optimistic. Intelligent. Freedom. Curious. Theses are just the many traits that my sign represents.

I am a Sagittarius. Born on the 6th of December. Fire is my element. I am ruled by the planet Jupiter (which was my favorite planet as a kid). There is no starting point when talking about my sign and I can't imagine myself being born any other time of the year. In fact, I am so in love with my sign that I have it tattooed on my arm! Anytime I see something related to astrology I MUST read it and see what it says and whenever I do there are always some recurring traits and I'm going to list a few of them here.

Independence

As a Sagittarian I value space and time to myself and in everyday life I don't mind riding solo. I don't need to be around somebody all the time to be happy. It doesn't bother me if somebody already has plans, I can make a plan to do something else. And too me there are more options because I don't have to worry about another person's criticism and I certainly don't have to wait on them, when I'm ready, I can leave anytime I want. I'm the type of person who looks for a way to handle a problem by myself instead of asking somebody, if I want something I try to find a way to get it myself.

I don't have a clear blueprint for anything. Even when instructions are set in front of me, I still find myself wanting to do my own thing. I don't wear makeup or own a dress or straighten my hair, nobody but me does my nails. I didn't even come up with a way to write this. Just typing what I'm thinking.

Centaur

The mythical Centaur is the symbol of my zodiac sign. I don't know too much about these creatures but I can understand their representation. They have the top half of a human and the bottom half half of a horse, there is a civilized side paired with an untamed side so while I am able to be part of the masses I also have a desire to go rogue.

Temperance

This is the tarot card that Sagittarius represents. It represents a mixing of elements which perfectly describes me because I am also a blend of many elements (coincidentally I am mixed race). This one is a more recent discovery but there is still a lot of significance to it, finding a balance. As I've mentioned in the beginning, there is lots that I can can about my sign and myself but I often have a hard time taking what's in my head and speaking it.

Adventure

I am a wanderer. Even when I'm in a grocery store I need to look around and see what they have. I do dream of being able to travel around the world and am thinking about where to travel to all the time. Whenever I watch a movie I am always imagining myself in that world and what I would be like.

Even though I can't say that everything about a Sagittarius explains who I am, I know that this is a part of me and always will be. I wasn't able to talk about all the things I like about my zodiac sign or how it describes me but they will all put a smile on my face every time!
