Hello Vocal! Welcome to Kelorah!

Introduction

Hello all of you lovely readers out there! My name is Jake, and I am an avid storyteller in the realm of fantasy and scifi. My current profession does not allow for me to truly focus on my passion for telling invigorating stories that transport people to new lands and generate new experiences. Enter Vocal!

My aim for vocal is to kickstart my career as a fantasy writer, and take all of you on a journey through love, pain, and general shenanigans. Being a recent college graduate from the school of business, I have come to realize that business is about far more than a simple point A to point B process. It is about the journey of assembling a complicated puzzle to bring something truly unique to the market.

But I am not making this post to discuss such philosophies. This vocal account is going to be producing both short and long stories that occur in the mystical land known as Kelorah. A land that is largely untamed by civilizations and is quite deadly to those who do not prepare properly. During our adventures in this mystical place, we will explore a wide variety of themes. From light hearted to dark and spicy, nothing will be considered sacred to those who call Kelorah there home. Kelorah's world works in a very similar way to the popular tabletop games of Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder, but is not limited to those mechanics. The world is mysterious, and like you, the characters will discover and learn as we go along. There may also be general lore passages about Kelorah, and tutorial pages to share my own knowledge with the community so that you to, can create you own world.

With that, dear adventurers, I invite you to sit back with a piping hot cup of hot cocoa, relax, and get ready for a wild ride. Will you be one of the ones to survive this mysterious world? Will your favorite character make it? Who knows, but we will find out together.

So what is Kelorah?

Kelorah is a fantasy world filled with mystery, adventure, and pain. Civilizations have just started to truly form, and societies have begun experimenting with living in more tight nit communities. Elves, dwarves, humans and demons. Kelorah is home to a diverse ecosystem that is governed by it's own laws. Fae creatures war with one another and adventurers wander in search of fame and fortune. Those who are prepared find fantastical treasures. While those who are not meet untimely ends.

The story of Kelorah will begin in a small hamlet known as Watervale. Several characters will find their worlds turned upside down and be forced to adventure, or perish. The reader will follow an elvan man known as Salyn Silverthorn as he makes his way in the world. Along the way, many other characters will either join, or hinder his endeavors to become a master mage and unravel the mystery that is magical chaos.

One last thing...

As an aside, I would like to thank each person who reads this and decides to give me a shot. There is no shortage of talent out there and ways to spend your time. As such, I truly appreciate beyond words the generous donation of said time. All funds earned from Vocal will go to paying down student debt and eventually, to give back to the community. I look forward to exploring the mystical world of Kelorah right along with you, and hope your sense of adventure and wonderment is enhanced because of it.
