Grabbing Life by the Horns

Wanna take a walk on the wild side? Think you can handle the fire without getting burnt? Well if so an Aries is whom you’ve been waiting for. Courageous, generous, honest, head strong, and optimistic; Aries are meant to forge the road for those to follow. We are natural born leaders; I mean why else do you think we’re the first sign of the zodiac. We believe in high risk for high reward, and love diving head first into all types of challenges. However, don’t expect a detailed plan on how we plan on conquering the world, because we don’t have one. Instead we use our spontaneous nature to make the best decision in the moment. Consequences? HA! Don’t make us laugh, minor setbacks that allow us to use our intuitive problem solving skills.

On the other hand, we also tend to be aggressive, moody, impatient, blunt, short-tempered, and did I mention extremely impatient. Furthermore, we are all of these things simultaneously. Meet the sign of extremes. Our courage sometimes is recklessness. Our optimism sometimes is detrimentally blinding. Our honesty is sometimes brutish. Our head strong personas sometimes teetering stubbornness. The most damning flaw is our competitive nature. Losing is not an option. Anything you can do we can and will do better, without so much as breaking a sweat. But don't think that we will be humble about it. We enjoy being number one and all of the glory that comes along with it.

Just like the ram, we charge headfirst into any obstacle in our path. There is no wall strong enough to keep us out. No mountain too high for us to conquer. Bursting with energy, we will perform any task with ease. We are also bursting with ideas, but don't expect us to stick with it very long. As soon as the next brilliant idea hits us we are moving on. It's extremely hard to keep our attention both in reality and romance.

If you find yourself enticed by the warm glow of our fire, beware that at any moment we could turn ice cold to you. There is no middle ground for us, remember? Either we obsessively love you or we cannot stand to hear you blink. Either way, we are incapable of hiding these feeling so you will definitely know. Shy about feelings, is something you will never have to worry about. However, getting us to articulate them before they boil over, good luck!

Full of optimism and hope its really hard to get us down. We love making others smile and knowing that we made their day. We are extremely loyal and will walk through the trenches to those we believe respect and cherish our friendship. But if you can't keep up with our spontaneous nature and need for constant stimulation, don't be surprised if we go look for more active and wild friends. However if we were to ever have a falling out, us Aries can never ever hold a grudge long term. After a few days of being mad we are ready to bury the hatchet, simply because we missed you. Although I wouldn't hold your breath if you are expecting us to admit to wrongdoings. And any apology will seem very insincere, mostly due to our bruised ego.

In a nutshell, an Aries is a wonderful friend to have in your corner. As long as you are willing to explore the ups and downs of life. Just remember, this fire sign isn't for the weak at heart. Be just as courageous, spontaneous, and free as this sign and we will be loyal until the end.
