Going Viral: Is a 'Grey Alien Overlord' Depicted on the Dollar Bill?
A "Grey Alien Overlord" appears to be secretly hidden on the US dollar bill.
A photo is going viral on the web showing what some claim to be proof that society is controlled by a "Grey Alien Overlord" with the evidence hidden in plain sight on the US dollar bill.
In the viral photo above, making its rounds on the web, the Great Seal of the United States has been rendered to reveal what appears to be a figure which bears a striking resemblance to what is commonly described as a "Grey" alien made famous by the Whitley Streiber bestseller titled Communion and published in 1987.

Furthermore, it's being claimed that the alien has even named itself.
Directly above the figure are the letters "Merica" which is alleged to indicate the alien is revealing its identity through the words "Me Rica."
The US dollar bill has long been scrutinized for what some claim to be hidden messages, most notably those allegedly planted by Freemasons.
It's been well established that high-level government officials have intentionally alluded to Masonic rituals with symbology and architecture since the formation of the United States of America.
And, that those responsible for such activity have been highly placed in the Freemason hierarchy.
Starting with the Founding Fathers (including Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin) and culminating with the influence of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1930s, American iconography and prominent Washington D.C. architecture are alleged to have been inspired by their membership in the secretive and influential association of Freemasonry.
However, this report appears to indicate the first time any claims have been made that extraterrestrials may have had an influence on such decision making.
The publishing of the book Communion in 1987 caused a worldwide sensation and started the "Grey" alien movement which continues to this day.
For more than three decades alien hunters and UFO enthusiasts have claimed that non-earthly beings secretly rule the world and have been doing so for thousands, even millions, of years.
The theory is that extraterrestrials visited Earth millions of years ago and either manipulated primate DNA to create the first humans, or that they arrived on the planet more recently and shared their advanced science with the human race.
In popular folklore there are many books, films and websites which explore this fascinating topic and have produced what some believe to be credible evidence that such claims are true.
Most notably are the books and documentaries by Erich von Däniken, starting with Chariots of the Gods, and, more recently with a series of TV shows called "Ancient Aliens" and espousing the theories of Giorgio A. Tsoukalos.
Both are famous for their public appearances claiming that aliens visited the Earth and left an indelible mark on humankind.
The reasons for this intervention are murky, at best. But claims have been made that aliens used human beings as slaves to mine precious metals, most particularly gold, which makes for an excellent conductor of electricity and has been the object of obsessive desire for both aliens and humans alike for thousands of years.
Could this be the motivation behind leaving a clue on the american dollar?
After all, it's the most eagerly sought after currency denomination and, despite its devaluation after going off the gold standard in 1974, is still recognized as the currency of choice around the world.
What better way to signal the existence of a secret society and its pervasive influence on modern culture and civilization?
Scoffers may claim this latest viral topic is just another example of pareidolia, which is defined as "a psychological phenomenon in which the mind responds to a stimulus, usually an image or a sound, by perceiving a familiar pattern where none exists."
But true believers don't need to be further convinced.
For some, it's like money in the bank...
