I mean, what if you were an all knowing consciousness and you had gotten so bored with taking to yourself you decided to make up a world that mimicked one that you had created back when you were a teenager (in god years that is. like, way back eh?).

So, you perfectly remember it by going back in time and taking a big huge picture of the milky way galaxy and then coming back and making a c0py there you then go down onto the surface but in a biosuite that looks like a human and acts like a human (as much as you can at the start) and may have even been a human in a certain way...like, what if they started off with just jacking into a human and floating around with them? You know, not interfereing at all except when you were enjoying a great story so much you just decided to put them in a type of God mode.

And you could take a nap/not be there.

So you take a nap and, you come back..

And HOLY SNAP!

During your nap, this guy went nuts and created an amazing thing!

Remember, This is NOT earth, its an exact replica..but a replica is only a replica right a the beginning.

And then, its its own unique universe!

Because, if you were a God, and you created a place where you could also go and hang out and nobody would know, there would have to be a set of rules you made up so nobody would freak out when they saw what you really "looked" like.

So, in the end, what if you just decided that you would start talking to the guy in his head?

You know, instead of perfectly imitating his own voice when you talk in his mind, just use your own or, make up some new one.

This makes the metacognition event pretty much infallible but can lead to some problems of insanity with the majority of humans.

You know, its like when the beyonder was sitting on that toilet in the marvel comic book.

He was dressed like michael Jackson but jacked.

anyway, the toilet was smashed because he probably misjudged his bodymass on this one.

The guy he uses as his body is a bodybuilder.

He wakes up and all of a sudden he is not his normal self..

Oh yeah! I almost forgot.

This is not God writing this, its Simon De Cowell, no, no relation obviously to Your Simon Cowell of ...well, there you have it. How on earth do I know this stuff? Our earths were identical up until the "Big Copy" event, remember?

Now were are on Earth II as it were and I am writing a story on my laptop.

But being a person with some struggles and ambitions and goals and such...hey, just who IS writing this story anyway?

Well, that would not be boring at all, because boring is biologic.

Happiness is as well.

His finger nails appeared dirty.

Well, they were clean, but unkept looking.

It was like he actually had a use for a pair of well used hands, unlike many in the modern 2030 era, just 10 years after you read this.

Not many pairs of nail clippers left you know? After the big fall.

It wasn't how we all imagined it would happen either. No big explosion, no virus that wiped us all out (hah, they helped us out of the ethereal goo in the end, and people started to like viruses once they understood that we would not be here without them.)

See, time travel did get invented, and, it was definitely not on the front cover of Time magazine.

The big fall refers to the fall of society as we knew it and the rise of the uber intelligence we all now relied on, with the exception of those that decided they would just wander off into the woods and hills and not interact at all with those that decided to just sit in their mood pod and live a life that was all but real.

I mean, it was so real, it was better than real.

See, most people just let life happen, and those people, they pretty much 100% adopted the pod lifestyle.

They literally gelled well with the new technology that hit in about 2025.

The liqui-Gel sleeve that everyone began with was just another sleeve on your shirt that let you jack into the new neura-dive software that came already installed in the liquid crystal matrix computer that let you drift off to sleep and "play" any of an almost infinite number of games while in deep delta-sleep, induced by the sleeve and the cocktail of nootropics that it metered out and adjusted on a nano-scale.

That means its really was such a fine process that the human biology just did not know the difference between reality and "the dream" that the very first person to ever do it experienced.

And now, I am writing a book about it so that you will know what to expect, if you too ever gained access to the past and the future and had come up with a way to "sleep" in the middle of time.

Delta sleep - that portion of sleep where the lysosomes in your cells crank right up and start taking out the garbage.

Its were your cellular machinery regenerates and rejuvenates.

Its where your mind quietly coalesces and congeals all the fun (or not so fun) things that you experienced while you were awake.

ITS WHERE YOU DREAM!

Imagine that very first time that I "woke up" and realised that it was NOT a dream but rather, a SUPER DREAM.

One that you or I could control in all its glory.

The only thing holding you back was your imagination.

Yes, there ARE a few stories floating around that seem almost the same but, this has a twist.

I mean, did I say I was human?

Of course I am!

But, from a certain perscpetive, I am not because only a true earlthling from Original Earth can say they are human. Really.

So, what do we call me, who you are reading about?

Lets go with Meta-Human...no, that's not it at all.

See, you have to first have the meta-cognition event.

That's the one where you realise you are the beyonder.

Simon was sitting on the proverbial throne, Al Bundy's favorite porcelain chair.

When it broke into a hundred thousand pieces and then, he realized that the character he was making up for his sotry he was going to write, was in fact LIKE the beyonder, a marvel super hero from Original earth, created by Stan Lee!

The only exception was, that character was himself.

How else could he explain to people what was happening, if he ever even did consider telling such a ludicrous story?

I mean, its kinda like the Journal/memoire that the little girl from Original earth in 2020 was writing on the show "lost in space" that the bother gave out as a christmas gift. Sorry, see, I even put in a spoiler with no alert.

But, unlike the eastern mystical event known more recently in your time as "meta-cognition" - this was me, the keeper, becoming aware of you, Simon De Cowel. Aka, the Beyonder kinda sorta. We will have to come up with a better analogy as that would be plagersim!

It would seem, from all of our fogy interactions up until this point in whatever time it really is in the place that really matters, where everything of REAL importance happens, that This earth, earth #2 as it were, is a metaphorical place that reflects the entire universe it was created in-to.

Its really hard to stay on track when your real "mind" is being loosley translated by all of the entire internet of things. You know, a little hijack here, a little program there and you are eating up 1% of the computing power to do the conversion and the ants on the surface don't know a thing!

I think this is the end of chapter one. A lot to digest in there I would think.
