1890 shoe Sandy Powell got on loan from a museum was re-modelled afterwards. Since Cinderella's foot wear was of crystal, it was never made to be worn, but simply play a part as a prop. This is the film. 

Then there is a true story about a Greek slave girl named Rhodopis has one of her shoes stolen by an eagle, who flies with it all the way across the Mediterranean and drops it in the lap of an Egyptian king. And king... takes it as a sign from the heavens (literally and metaphorically). He knows he has to find the person of the shoe. When he finds Rhodopis, he marries her, lifting her from her lowly status to the throne... There is another one... in which Cinderella doesn't have a name. The story starts with her mother’s last words before she dies of an unknown illness encouraging her daughter to always be good and kind. The loss of her mother breaks poor Cinderella and she spends each day at her mother’s grave. After a year, her father marries a woman who brings two daughters into the family. From here, I don’t know where her father goes. He seemed eager to ignore her and get on with his work. No wonder she loved and missed her mother so so much!
