Entry of AI

Honorable Mention in Already Here Challenge
Visualization I had during shadow work.

Ever have a dream that you can't remember correctly? The characters always look a little off, the story line doesn't fit- and yet, we're desperate to remember those moments, remember those characters, all the way down to the clothing! With technology and expansive research, time and study of creation, scientists and technologists in our time introduced AI.

It's a pesky topic, both bitter and sweet. Useful, but also using, many resources.

On the creative side, we have the ability to give a computer minuscule detail and see a near twinning replica of what we dreamed. Frightening, isn't it? Like the thought of someone recording your dreams, like the many times you've wished for. Be careful what you wish for, right? We can recreate photos, videos, throw ideas into a microphone and watch them come alive, like magic.

It's been extremely useful for my Dungeons and Dragons characters- I've again, made specific details and almost watched the vision in my head become real instantaneously. Like a mini, invisible hard drive just shooting from my eyes, into the screen. Of course, we have the comments of "AI slop", but truthfully, this is a brilliant piece of technology! Let's face it, as a witness to repeated, historical patterns already in society- advancement is always the goal and technology has brought many of those, and they never leave, only evolve. With that understanding, it was simple to embrace and utilize for future working, creativity and ideas flowing.

For me, it's still very surreal. I've explained vivid dreams, to create snapshots to incorporate into my poetry- the accuracy is wild, intriguing, almost mirroring the dream in my reality to re watch and catch what I missed in the moment- almost like I brought my Polaroid with me into lucidity. I've included a couple of those below.

A ride to remember, my hubby and I, described to CHATGPT. 2026.

Riding for my husband and I, is very intimate. Experiencing the wind, trusting one another to stay balanced, loyal to the ride and safe to adventure with. Meditating with the sun, sharing smiles and kisses between red lights.

That Euphoria is found within my memory and sharing the vivid details, I was able to visually relive it with the understanding of today's technology. It's also an added effect to the scrapbook!

I mentioned Dungeons and Dragons earlier, it's officially a favorite tool to create characters for the party.

Delilah Dragonborn Moon Druid

Delilah, pictured above, has had several variations as the game has progressed. This is currently her attire, with her newly found dark gifts, given from The Amber Temple. She has the power to resurrect and the ability to protect her mind from psychic powers. Of course balance comes into play, win a gift, give a gift. Loss of skin color for raising the undead and loss of my eyes. I can still see, but I no longer have eyes. Thus, Delilah is achieved.

On many occasions, moments in meditation will bring an image I want to see; I can relay these moments, in detail, for a winning piece I can frame, put in the scrapbook or simply just enjoy! I know it's bittersweet for many of us, but as we all come to evolve with the times, I too think this can be a useful tool with responsible use. Those who may feel they aren't exactly capable of drawing something out, but can explain and mold virtually until it's ideal, is literally part of the adventure of art!

I think once we can balance the use, AI is going to be a very useful utilization in the art community, political community, and even help teachers with presentations and students with learning! We're very privileged to be in a time to freely innovate and share ideas the way we are, and sometimes, I think we lose sight of that. May we all come together to evolve and find ways to nurture the planet with that leveling. Everything needs balance.
