The New Order of Alexandria is a Post-Apocalyptic Sci-fi Novel set in the year 2050, it is a world where climate change has led to massive tsunamis destroying America and now survivors band together to try and survive in this new and harsh world, while a new government named The New Order of Alexandria set out to restore the world to the way it once was before. The book has a wide range of different and interesting characters, in this article we will be talking about all the major characters that play a part in the first book.

Jack Carr

Jack Carr is the main Character in The New Order of Alexandria, we will see Jack Carr develop throughout the story. At the start of Part one, Jack is only 17 years old, but once he turns 18 he is recruited by General Conor O'Brian of The New Order of Alexandria. Jack Carr does not join The New Order of Alexandria's army on his own however as his older brother, Derek Carr, is along for the ride as well. The two brothers will fight the same battles side by side and both characters will witness all of the horrors that The Western World has to offer.

Derek Carr

Derek Carr is the older brother of Jack Carr, he will be protecting Jack throughout the story in Part one and beyond. Derek also has his own story arcs separate from Jack Carr, he has a lot more character to him than just being Jack's older brother and guardian. He will make his own friends and enemies, he will fall in Love and fight for his beliefs. He'll make his own decisions and go through some hard times with his Brother, Father and Lover.

Henry Carr

He owns the abandoned bottle making factory where The Carr family resides. Only Derek, Henry and Jack live in the factory, however later in the story another character will be joining them, Derek Carr's girlfriend...

Jade Sanders is Derek Carr's girlfriend. They met in The Den (where Riverway Slaves are held) when Derek and Henry were enslaved. After escaping Riverway together with Derek, Henry and Benjamin. Jade Sanders had nowhere else to go and she had a fancy for Derek Carr. With Henry's permission, Jade Sanders decided to move in with The Carr family and ever since then, she has been like a sister to Jack Carr.

Benjamin

Benjamin is a character that Derek and Henry will meet on their travels as they stumble across the Riverway Slavers, a slaver group that is stationed on The Island of Hella. Once captured by these monstrous men, Derek and Henry will find themselves inside "The Den" A hole in the ground where The Slavers keep their prisoners. Inside that hole the two of them will meet Benjamin, a slave who has seen it all, and with his help, they will survive their time in Riverway.

General Conor O'Brian

Artwork by Joseph Roy Wright

General Conor O'Brian recruits Jack & Derek Carr into The New Order of Alexandria Army. He is a very proud and inspirational leader for the NOA on Hella. He has served with them from the very beginning and hires the two brothers after hearing about their daring escape from The Riverway Slavers. He sees potential in the two of them, even if they don't always see it within themselves.

Lucy Cartwright

Artwork by Joseph Roy Wright

Lucy Cartwright is the leader of a small settlement on the island of Hella named Littlewood, a small community of settlers who want no involvement with the New Order of Alexandria. Jack first meets this lovely lady while lost on the island, however things take an unfortunate turn once Jack joins the NOA. Our main Protagonist will have no choice but to make a very difficult decision!
