Good morning acolytes and force users! We here at Culture Slate are pleased to inform you that we have officially gotten the first teaser trailer for The Book Of Boba Fett this morning, and it is like Christmas came early this year.

For those of you who have been living under a rock and dont know about this show, this is the first spin off series from what we like to call 'The Mandoverse.' In this first trailer we are given our first on screen glimpses at the Star Wars Underworld.

Disney:

Every galaxy has an underworld. Experience the new trailer for The Book of Boba Fett. The Original Series starts streaming December 29 on Disney+.

“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

I have been more than excited to see this series, and what it does for Star Wars than Almost anything else in Disney era Star Wars. From the synopsis above we see that this show picks up from the end of Season 2 of 'The Mandalorian' saying that Boba and Fennec are going back to Tatooine to 'stake their claim' to the thrown of the late Jabba the Hutt.

The gears in my head have now begun spinning like crazy thinking about what cold happen in this show. With all the news around Hayden returning to Star Wars I have not put a lot of thought into what Book Of Boba Fett could give us, but after seeing this trailer I have so many ideas.

In the trailer we see familiar characters Boba Fett and Fennec Shand after the events of 'The Mandalorian' season 2 coming to Tatooine and finding Jabba the Hutt's palace in the hands of what looks like various crime syndicates. In the trailer we here Boba Fett say to an off screen voice 'I am not a bounty hunter' and then a voice saying 'I've heard otherwise' followed up by establishing shots of Tatooine and Boba Fett saying that he intends to 'Rule with respect.'

This line gives us so much to think about, since we all have thought of Boba Fett as a ruthless bounty hunter but this is a seemingly different tune. Maybe the Sarlacc made him 'Go home and rethink my life' once he escaped. Which leads me to another question I now have about this series.

How Did Boba Fett Escape?

This is one question I have more than anything else, will they have a flashback to Young Boba Fett right after the events of Episode VI? If they do we hope that we see Daniel Logan pick up the role of 'Younger' Boba Fett.

Our speculation gears here at Culture Slate are turning real fast this morning at the prospects of what is to come in the Book of Boba Fett, there is so much more to see in the trailer, so have a look below:
