The year of 2020 has definitely been a year full of disappointments. Weddings postponed or not quite the day envisioned. Businesses struggling with restrictions placed on them forcing them to close or reduce their workforce. There is one thing that will never change. Santa Claus will still be heading out on Christmas eve to make his deliveries.

Hard to believe in someone can deliver toys in one night to the entire world. Ah the non-believer. Surely you have heard of time travel. Santa is a master tinkerer and has the ability to time travel. I know what you are thinking, the Santa story has been going on longer than 1955 when Dr Emmett Brown came up with the flux capacitor which as we all know is what makes time travel possible. It’s very possible that Santa’s time machine doesn’t use a flux capacitor.

Santa’s time machine has been reported as flying reindeer pulling a sleigh. Some believe that somehow magic is involved. It’s clearly not the case as Santa is an alien from another planet along with the reindeer that traveled here and have mastered antigravity. This allows Santa to have pinpoint control of his vehicle and with time traveling he can appear to arrive everywhere at once.

Questioning why he would pick the North Pole as a place to live? He’s an alien from another planet. He doesn’t want constant visitors dropping in whenever they feel like it. The North Pole gives him the space he needs to make his toys and the seclusion to keep it a secret. Clark Kent also has a place next to the Clauses for the same reason, sometimes you just need time for yourself.

Why does he make toys? Santa is a master tinkerer. He doesn’t just make toys, he can make anything. Many don’t realize that under the snow of the North Pole is a wealth of resources that Santa has tapped into to make all his wonderful things. It’s very possible to have an item from Santa that isn’t a toy, yet still be made by Santa.

That’s a lot of presents for one person to make in a year. Santa could use time traveling again to give him the necessary time needed to build the presents, but he found a better way, elves. When Santa arrived on Earth the elves were one of the leading beings on the planet. Men, elves, dwarfs and wizards were at odds with a powerful wizard using orcs and goblins to control the earth. Santa was a very small child and the elves took him in. Elves are very talented in wood working and taught Santa their secrets. He took them a step further and developed toys and presents that adults would like. Santa nature is always wanting to give and the elves encouraged that nature. He had a need to share his tinkering with the world only to find out the world wasn’t ready for his inventions. Still he wanted to give so he decided to make the journey once a year to all the good people of the world. Most of the elves have left the world but a few stayed to help Santa carry out his mission every year. During the early years some elves discovered baking and in the mid nineteenth century formed a cookie factory out of some the elves tree homes.

Still don’t believe in Santa? That’s too bad, if you haven’t seen a present from in a quite a while then you must have done something bad to be put on the naughty list. It can be changed, a couple nice things would do it, holding an elevator door so someone else can get on, reaching an item that too high for someone else to get, little things go a long way.
