What’s better than fanart depicting the standoff between Cad Bane and Boba Fett from Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett? Fanart depicting the standoff with action figures while using master camera work and effects, of course. One of the best parts about joining a fandom as large as Star Wars is the fanart that quickly follows, and for fans of Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett series, it was no exception. An Instagram post by KILLCUTTERPHOTO shows the standoff of the two iconic bounty hunters in a series of photos. One is of the complete picture itself with Cad Bane leaning against a building and Boba Fett in the distance followed by closeups of the two bounty hunters themselves. The picture itself was created with a handmade diorama and the skillful use of Star Wars action figures, along with some amazing camera work.

KILLCUTTERPHOTO is an avid Star Wars fan and often posts photos similar to this Cad Bane and Boba Fett photo. Under the users Instagram account, fans can find photos depicting Qui-Gon Jinn surrounded by battle droids, a tusken raider atop a dewback while holding a yellow lightsaber, and even E.T. with a lightsaber of his own. The creator clearly puts much time and skill into every photo that is posted and is worth checking out. The creator doesn’t only post action figured scenes of Star Wars characters, but also pictures of characters and scenes from fan-favorite films or franchises such as Marvel.

This is what the poster had to say about the photo of Cade Bane and Boba Fett;

""The Master and the Apprentice" There's nothing like a good ol' western. I really wanted to depict a scene right out of 'Book of Boba' but flip it on its head. I thought it would be cool to have Boba be the "stranger" walking into town from the desert and coming upon Bane in a classic western pose. I built the diorama wall out of foam packaging for a TV, spackle, and paint. The ground is fine sand. Moisture vaporator and barrel from @dagobah_customs. Swipe to see BTS of lighting setup. Models: Black Series Cad Bane & ROTJ Boba Fett."

Cad Bane was only one of the long list of cameos that made it into The Book of Boba Fett series. Despite the fact that he only appears in the last two episodes, he was still one of the more favorable cameos considering that his role actually already played a big part in Boba Fett's life story itself. Cade Bane has also been a long time fan favorite bad guy ever since he first premiered in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV show back in 2008. His first appearance was in the Season One finale and he made many appearances throughout the series. While some fans had mixed feelings when it came to the fate of Cade Bane, or perhaps simply disappointment at the size of his hat, seeing him on screen in live action made a lot of fans happy. So, seeing the amazing work down in this Instagram post only adds to the hype for this character, along with Boba Fett himself.

There is no telling how much more fans will get to see Cade Bane or Boba Fett after the series finale. Hopefully, both characters will be able to make cameos in the upcoming season of The Bad Batch or even the Kenobi series. For now, fans will look to fan art such as the one done by KILLCUTTERPHOTO for appreciation.
