In ancient times when man started observing the surroundings around him, he started to see the difference between day and night, different seasons, and how the cycle of the season works and slowly came to understand the periodicity and what advantages it has on human life. Slowly it came to understand the celestial bodies and their happenings. And this curiosity and interest that was built up one day came to knowledge as Astrology.

Historical phenomena of astrology

There are so many perceptions and sayings about how astrology came into existence. As science is developing day by day getting to know how astrology came to be known by us will be a tricky thing. It all started with the man who started noticing and observing the celestial bodies, their movements, and their impacts on people who live on earth. Astrology is derived from Vedas. There were astronomical symbols from Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro that tell us a lot about history.

In Rome, astrology plays a great role in the politics of Rome, astrology helped them in shaping the future and The Roman Empire. In the earliest Indian works on astrology in the Vedic times. The Greeks and the Persians also brought their methods in astrology. In those Historical times, astrology was used only for determining the right time and Vedic rituals. Online Vedic Astrology has grown with time as people started believing in it. The important occurrences and happenings started to happen with astrological beliefs and timings. Marriage started with astrological horoscopes. It has evolved its regional forms in so many different ways.

Many studies still say that Astrology has not gathered any scientific proof behind it but people still believe in it. Astrology has become the main interest and it seems to grow in the coming years too.

Astrology has cultural phenomena

Indian Astrology took a traditional shape in building the astrology beliefs into the common era. India faces many astrological traditions and its cultural beliefs also become diversified with time. Before in Astrology culture astrology was not very organized and due to which it was decided to make a properly organized astrological culture that benefits the people's life. There were reasons for the origin of astrology but the movements of planets and changes in them were studied to understand deep happenings and climate changes and how they can affect the activities of human bodies.

When the predictions and astrology started coming accurate people started using them for the predictions of future disasters that helped the masses in many ways. In cultural times, it was used by the kings, as astrology has passed through many generations it has now reached the common man.

People not only use it for royalty practice but also for gaining fame and success as it helps in guiding individual paths and helps one to become aware of the future. The development of astrology has enhanced the beliefs of people and many new astrology practices also come into existence in this modern time.

The zodiac is divided into 4 elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth. And these elements have a big effect on the signs of the horoscope. Each zodiac sign is unique and has a different combination of elements that are needed to be balanced. As astrology has evolved it has also evolved its methods and techniques with time.

Astrology is a system of understanding what future life holds for us and what impact the celestial bodies have in our lives, each zodiac sign is represented by different symbols and every symbol has a different meaning.

Astrology is based on the beliefs of light because of which The Hindu system is referred to as the Jyotish. India has many ancient studies on astrology that helps in understanding light and relation to terrestrial bodies.
