Gemini baby: all flight and cleverness, all wing and no prayer. You trust the universe more than most - you're willing to risk a little disaster in exchange for grand adventure, willing to risk a little heartbreak for a chance at an epic love, and willing to leave a situation that isn't working for you anymore.
You're bold, Gemini. People love having you at dinner parties. You sparkle when you tell a story, land a joke like a French chef flipping the perfect omelets. You make everyone around you feel special, turning your attention on them like a sunbeam. Your stone is tiger eye - a bright streak in a dark world. People look to you when they need to find the upside, the punchline, the way through.
I thought this year was going to be extra tough on all our Geminis, but they proved me wrong - Geminis did just fine without their parties and their festivals, their gatherings and their groups. Geminis shifted gears with aplomb, setting up digital dates by the fistful, exploring everything our new digital world had to offer. Geminis piloted online games, figured out the silliest Zoom backgrounds, and organized drive-by parades in lieu of celebrations. Geminis found pandemic romances and figured out how to woo new crushes over text by mastering the art of the heart-eyed selfie. Geminis know how to make connections, and we needed that in spades this year.
Geminis, I'm going to need you to keep us moving as we head into the next few months. Things are going to be changing faster than a lot of your Zodiac comrades would like (lookin' at you, Cancer - you're going to have to come out of your house one way or another) and they're going to need you to light the way again.
You're going to have to dance between necessary caution, your abundant care for your community and the need to be brave as we slowly, tentatively, start coming together again. You're going to be the one folks look to for a model. Be smart. Be kind. Let people have their worries and their frustrations, then find the commonalities. You're good at that, Gemini. You're going to be the one who figures out exactly what garden party formula will bring your most cautious friends and your most eager-to-get-back-to-normal friends to the yard.
Don't be surprised if some of those connections you made in the height of the last year start to fade. You've always known that connections are tenuous, and you're never afraid to let go, even if you grieve the losses. It's okay to stop once in awhile and just FEEL everything, Gem. I know you don't like to. But unburdening yourself and lightening that load will help you stay in the air.
For this next phase, find yourself an Aries who's ready for the adventure in the year to come and will match you beat-for-beat in quick wit and passion. Scope out a gentle Libra whose solid groundedness might be just what you need after a year of constant pivoting. Remember your gifts - you're so good at drawing people out of their shells, making them feel comfortable and special. Let your romantic creativity fly with handwritten love notes or mini-collages sent by postal mail; show up with a boom box on your shoulder and a mushy playlist to greet them for a date. Remember that you deserve someone who is just as dedicated to the romantic dance as you are, Gemini. You deserve someone who will appreciate your gestures and return them in kind - whether through deep appreciation, or even a surprise or two of your own.
Happy Birthday, Gemini. This is the season where everything starts to move fast and get warm - an absolutely perfect opportunity to showcase what you do best. Sparkle on, sweetheart!
