Salvexa was still groggy as she awoke from her self induced dreamless sleep, she knew is would be dangerous to go out.

Oldensfleur blooms were so fragrant and always reminded Selvexa of home by the sea.

Selvexa woke to the strong scent of Oldensfleur. They came in from the small vecht windows in the hall and were a gift from the Highst Generals, considered valuable and given only to Priestesses in the Breeders sechtr of Oldenlight Clan. Feeling a heavy fog from the potent elixir she took for sleep, the smell She knew roused her awake, always for some reason, that aroma also made her feel sad. She didn't know why and that drove her mad. She tried to avoid the urge to tip her nose up and inhale deeply, the heady scent reminiscent of her beloved sea. She failed to resist, inhaled, then a sad smile, because she could only feel a loss she didn't understand. That emotion brought unbridled anger that always took her thoughts to a darker place, like the one she was in now.

Salvexa had fleeting visions and blurred memory, mostly a dark, grown-over dwelling that was familiar.

She could feel the anger coming to a rolling boil as a sense something she knew was just out of focus. The feeling that she could not grasp made her feel helpless, and that brought fight or flight tingling through her whole being, "No. Not today! She said too loud, told herself as she jumped up, grabbed the leather and net shift to wear, "I know nothing of who I was, and this thinking must stop!" The cold is near unbearable at the border of the Dark, and dangers she knew nothing about. It was a place she was not to go, but her anger right now didn't care, so neither did she. On went her long leather overcrop as she grabbed her trophy Knifrasp, and into the dark forest she went. Her only thoughts why the image of her sister Salmina kept flashing in and out of her mind's eye. Was she still alive?

Salmina alone held the task of finding "Heart of the Ocean" the Heart-shaped stone believed to hold the key to rare and ancient Old Light Magic needed to free the trapped Urthen.

Salmina alone was the one who could touch the heart stone and not vanish into blue mists. In small bits and pieces of knowledge, retained from her childhood years, she could put together what it was like long ago. In the early days of the Midurth communizations, one who touched the heart too quickly with greed or evil intent, that individual, simply dissolved into the mists coming all from nowhere and everywhere. Salvexra and Salmina could always feel if something was wrong with the other, and visions would come of danger, and she was getting more of these within the Dark Forest. She somehow knew her sister would be with her soon, and the magical and very dangerous Saphire that held the fate of all the New Light Urthen clans the certainly be safer and better off with the sisters of Light Magic together against the ascending evil that has seeped into Midurth. It is now imperative she finds Salvexa alive, then together with the Heart of the Oceans "Old Magic" they find and free their people, all the leftover and lost, fallen, usable in any way were taken alive and memory stripped and re-programmed for nothing but submissive behavior to living lives of slavery, playing roles that are pleasing to those living within the Dark. I must at this point stop, as I must find the lost text to finish my tale as time is up for me now. To Be Continued in the Dark.
