And remember, whatever explanation they offer, don't believe them. They've been lying to us for years. Keep your eyes open always and you will see that the truth is right in front of you. Right in front of your face! And never forget, they are always watching and listening...

"Class, give it up for Chase Verity. Thank you Mr. Verity for sharing your time and experiences with us today."

The class applauded as Chase left the room, giving a small timid wave. After revealing so many of their secrets, he was anxious to retreat back to the safety of his one bedroom apartment. But it was so worth it, he thought. He knew that he had a sacred responsibility to share the truth. Regardless of the danger, Chase was always willing to lecture and warn anyone whenever he was given a platform and a receptive audience.

On his way to the university parking lot, Chase observed his surroundings at all times, even looking behind him at least once a minute. Upon arriving at his car, he took a moment to look underneath it and then sat down in the driver's seat. He started the engine carefully, and began his short drive home.

Once he arrived at the apartment complex, Chase pulled his phone out of his pocket and logged into the app for his home security system. After checking each camera to ensure that no one was inside his apartment, he got out of his car and walked up the stairs to his front door. He unlocked the door and entered his living room to a sight that nearly caused him to faint.

A mysterious package was sitting right in the middle of the floor! How could he have been caught off guard like this? How did someone get in there? He had searched his cameras, but he had been looking for a person, in the apartment. He would have looked right over the package without actually seeing it. Once the initial shock wore off, Chase walked the entire apartment and looked in every closet and potential hiding spot. After he was satisfied that no one was there with him, he returned to the spot where the package lay on the floor.

Chase began to rewind the camera footage in order to get a visual on the individual who must have left the package, but when he saw that the footage contained a missing section of about thirty minutes, he knew that he would not be able to identify the person. The thought had not even occurred to him that he might call the police. After all, most of them are in on it. If he was to call anyone, it would be his dad. Even a retired archaeologist had a natural knack for uncovering truth and mysteries. But ultimately, Chase decided against telling anyone at all just yet. He looked at the package for several minutes, pondering, before he even knelt down to open it.

The first thing that he noticed about the package was that there was no writing at all anywhere on it. Clearly it had not gone through the postal system or any other commercial method of delivery. Once he had carefully lowered his ear to the package and was satisfied that it was not ticking, Chase picked it up and stood on his feet. He meticulously broke the seal with the letter opener he kept in an end table drawer. Then he dumped the contents onto the floor as he jumped back four feet. He gazed upon the three items that fell out with the utmost wonder and suspicion: a handwritten letter, a clear bag full of cash totaling twenty thousand dollars, and a small black luxury notebook.

Chase was not filled with the excitement that most people would experience upon discovering a large sum of money. It most likely came from "them" and it was surely laced with anthrax or some other topical poison. Once he had gone to his bedroom and returned with two sets of single use gloves on his hands, an N-95 mask on his face, and safety goggles on his eyes, Chase was finally ready to pick up the letter.

Read the notebook. Once you do, everything will become clear. A man such as you will know what to do with the money once you have learned the truth.

With an extreme caution that would have even annoyed an accountant, Chase moved on to examine the notebook. It was clearly a well made notebook that most likely belonged to someone important. It had the aire of sophistication and for some reason, inspired an assumption that its owner had traveled abroad at some point. When he opened it to its first page, Chase felt as if his heart had stopped beating. The first page and each page thereafter, contained the official seal of the U.S. government. It was an intelligence report that, according to the timestamp on the seal, predated his own existence by several years. Now, his heart was racing. For a man like Chase, this could be the equivalent of winning the lottery.

As he carefully read through the notebook, hanging on every word, he would often have to stop and process the profound revelations that it contained. There was a several page report on the Watergate scandal that included details and scandalous information that completely blew Chase's mind. There was also an extensive report on Area 51 that detailed the many different truths that were being kept from the general public, including many that even Chase had never even dreamed of. And among many others, he even read of a future conspiracy to torture the world with a wretched children's song about an infant shark.

Armed with the power that comes with such complete knowledge, Chase began to scheme and plan the ultimate uncovering of and public awakening to the truth. With the twenty thousand dollars that had been entrusted to him, he could at least get the ball rolling. His crusade would begin as soon as the results of the tox screen he would compulsively run on all three items cleared them for bare hand contact.
