Hello, hi, welcome! So for today's post, I had to share with you guys something that I saw while perusing the internet that really caught my eye.

If you follow my content through this site or as most of you do, through Facebook (which if you're not following me, why?), then you know how much I enjoy reading stories about witchcraft, supernatural phenomenons, things that've never been explained. I live for such stories. Maybe it's because of how it blends the ideas of reality vs fantasy, fact vs fiction. Or maybe it's just because I grew up watching shows like Merlin, Charmed, Salem etc and so I always like a good witch story.

Whatever the reason, this Youtube video was suggested to me and I had to watch through it. By the time I was halfway done, I knew I was definitely going to have to share these signs with you, and so without any further ado, here are the 20 signs you're a witch!

20. Believing in or Feeling a Connection To Specific Deities.

Do you feel a strong connection to Norse, Roman, Greek, or Nigerian deities. I'm talking Hades, Loki, Osiris, Sango, etc.

A lot of witches deal with or work with these deities in order to help them in different circumstances, so if you feel a connection to one or more of these deities, then it's maybe a sign that you might be a witch and need to work with these deities more often.

19. You Feel Crystal Energies

If you're touching a crystal or working with one and you feel the energy pull towards you or you're able to harness that energy, then that's a strong sign that you might be a witch.

Crystals have a lot of different qualities and what witches do is harness and use those qualities to help them in whichever way they please.

Some common crystals are Black Onyx, Amethyst, and Tourmaline.

18. You Feel One With Nature

If you're outside let's say in the wilderness or an open space and you're taking off your shoes and really feeling and enjoying that nature space, then it's a sign that you might be a witch.

Witches feel the energy of the earth, they soak it up, they harness it, and they use that energy in practicing the craft. So if you feel one with nature, then it's a huge sign that you may be one with nature.

17. You Feel Moon Energies

If you feel different things or different energies during a full moon, then this is a huge sign that you're a witch.

If you feel like the energy of the full moon is drawing you in, this is a huge sign. Witches work with the moon especially in work with different planets, and that energy can be worked with and harnessed.

It's also interesting if you feel different energy during the different phases of the moon because the different phases of the moon can help you in different ways.

16. You See Auras

Auras are energy fields so people have energy fields surrounding them in order to protect themselves, and you can work with people in order to strengthen these auras and possibly heal them and make them a little brighter.

15. You Create Affirmations and Say Them Aloud to Yourself.

Affirmations like "You're successful", "You're doing well", etc. These are technically spells or incantations. Incantations are verbal spells so you don't necessarily have to rhyme or have this huge spell with a bunch of different items.

If you just say something to yourself in order to become or create that for something later on, that is technically a spell.

14. You See and Interpret Different Signs.

Things like cloud formations, or a number you see very often that may mean something. A number like 1234 might mean that something good's about to happen while a number like 1235 might mean that something bad's about to happen for example.

So if you see certain symbols very often in your home or work life, and you can interpret it to tell you something about maybe the future or what's to come or what to avoid, that's technically a form of divination, and it's a strong sign that you might be a witch.

13. If Electricity Goes Haywire Around You

This is called being 'Electrokinetic' but it's definitely something you can learn to hone.

So if you're around things like a light bulb that begins to flicker, or you get mad and you're laptop sparks and burns out, this is a sign that you're working with the powers that be in order to change the electromagnetic currents. You're a witch!

12. Knowing When Things are Going to Happen.

Premonition, having dreams that later come to pass. If you see this happening recurringly, it's definitely a sign that you may be a witch and you need to figure out how to control it so you can interpret it and know how to use it. It can help out in the future and even lend you psychic abilities.

11. Seeing Things Other People Can't.

You're seeing ghosts or other beings other people can't see, this is a huge sign that you may be a witch!

This ability means that you have the ability to be in tune with other frequencies and other realms. Definitely a quality that witches have.

10. You're Drawn to the Strange and Unusual.

If you're not really interested in sticking to the norm, you're more interested in doing other things like learning the occult, learning magic, being interested in things that other people aren't really interested in, then that's a key sign.

9. Creating a Book of Shadows.

This is generally something witches do when they finally work on their first spell. Being a witch means that you have your book of shadows, i.e. your book of spells, in order to use them later on.

Even if it's just something that's comprehensive, maybe notes that you take in order to work with your spell craft, then it's a definite sign that you're leaning towards witchcraft.

8. Feeling Energies of Items When You Touch Them

Not only regular items, but also items of someone that may have died or an item that someone might have put energy into, like something that they love and you can feel that love from that item, definitely a sign that you may be a witch.

7. You Create Herbal Concoctions For Yourself

Witches use herbs to create potions. Different herbs contain different magical properties as well as medicinal properties so any of these potions can help you either medicinally or magically.

Herbal teas, Chinese herbs...if you're using herbs to help yourself in different ways, either medicinally or magically, then it's a sign that you may be a witch.

6. You Learn that You Were a Witch in Your Past Life

The Youtuber learned that in her past life she was a witch, a bad witch using her powers for evil. So now she's using that power for good in order to enrich her life and the lives of others around.

So if you discover that maybe you were a witch in your past life, it might be a sign. Sometimes a witch could have been good in the past life and so feel no need to continue the craft in this life. But if you learn that you were a witch in a past life, really high chance you might be a witch.

5. Your Mother, Father, or Ancestor was a Witch.

It is in your bloodline. That knowledge they have is still with you. Your ancestors stay with you even after they pass, to help you or watch over you, and so you can lean into that and work with them in order to hone and use your craft.

4. You're Able to Change The Emotional Vibrations of Others Around You.

You can make people feel better at any given moment with either a touch or with a look. You can also make people feel bad at any moment.

3. Finding it Easy to Get What You Want

Or finding it easy to get other people to do what you want. This is huge! This is one of the qualities of the element of fire. It's something you're able to will into existence and you're able to get what you want.

If this is something that you're able to do, it's definitely a sign that you might be a witch.

2. Casting a spell that Actually Works.

If you cast a spell that actually works, then technically you are a witch. You have used your witchcraft to create or do something that you want. Definite sign that you are a witch.

1. Actively Practicing and Studying Witchcraft

It's not enough to just say that you're a witch. It's about practice, learning, and experimenting. If you don't do that, then technically you can't call yourself a witch. It's just something that you did or whatever.

If you are actively practicing and learning the craft, then you are definitely a witch!
