What if I told you I could smell everything I see. When someone is running through a field of flowers in a movie, I can smell the fragrant lilacs, marigolds, and wildflowers.
Even while standing in the middle of a bakery, I could tell you what brand deodorant the cashier is wearing. Is it a gift or a curse, I'm not quite sure.
Be it magazines, anime, even your favorite TV show, my smelling powers are fully activated. Unfortunately, I can’t watch true crime shows or realty TV shows like Survivor.
I’ve smelled the best and the worst of humanity.

What Comes Around...
The late afternoon sun was always deceiving. It always seemed warmer than it was. The weird shadows it cut on the snow belied the fact that it was bitter cold. As he trogged over light snow blanketed the ground, he steadied himself on one of the many bamboo trees in the forest. Random freak weather changes were nothing new, but this was one such act of nature he could live without. Reaching the far side of the stand of trees, the sun reflected on the open field leading to his destination.

When the Robots Took My Job
This is for RM Stockton's Write Club prompt for the month of April: AI Please allow me to vent. For "college," I went to a scam school that is now closed. We were promised internships that were never spoken of again after admissions, and we were promised help finding jobs. The first time I went to the career counselor's office, she was completely frazzled. She had no idea what to do with us, the film majors. The second time I visited her office, I let her know that I'd found myself a job, and she was visibly relieved.
